More specifically, a senior estates surveyor in a national retailer. In post 8 yrs.

That’s well under min wage full time is just under £24k now. Unless the £18k is because your not on 37-40hours?

I would imagine it’s 8.45-3.15 or similar?

Local authority IT, 15 years, top of my band so can't go higher, just had a union approved pay rise, £34k FT.
Hardly ever see any other council workers on these threads, or the thousands of civil service employees who aren't managerial or admin but skilled middle roles that just don't pay that well!
