Anyone else p*ssed in the kitchen tonight?

As in, having had a drink or more? DH has cooked jacket potatoes and opened a bottle of fizz, mixed it up with orange juice. Also did some vodka with orange juice He's now in front of the TV and I'm still in the kitchen eating and feeling very tipsy 🥂

One large gin & tonic down, some red wine to go. I’m with you OP. In between I need to chivvy the kids to bed. without saying the words “ My wine is waiting”.

Red wine for me! There's just something about having a drink (or several!) on a Friday night isn't there

Me and DH aren't pissed, but we've had a glass of wine whilst watching Malcolm in the Middle. I've also had a hot chocolate and a bowl of shreddies.

Our 6 month old is asleep and we are celebrating that she's finally started sleeping slightly better, leading to the whole household feeling happier.

I'm surrounded by alcohol but I'm restricted to serving it to other people.

I don't mind, it's nice watching people have fun, many are regulars so regardless of me nursing a bottle of water or a coffee, I'm having a good laugh.

It's ds19's bday so we've been to the pub for a couple, now Dh and I are cooking curry in the kitchen...actually, at present Dh is cooking and I'm drinking posh cider. I think he intends to move on to cherry bourbon and coke with ds shortly, but needs to fry the onions first.

I am sitting in our summerhouse with a bottle of wine. I walked out of the house when my wife asked me to help her undo the zip on her fleece as she was feeling cold. I told her she did not have a fleece on and she told me that I am wrong. I decided wine was better company as wine never stays here long enough to develop dementia. I know that when I go back in she will probably not have noticed that I have been away
I just need a break sometimes

I'm on my 3rd vodka and coke. In the kitchen as we have a sofa and TV in here. Watching TV with DD who is back from uni for the weekend.

No because MIL didn’t read the label. But am drinking some surprising acceptable alcohol free fizz…

Me ! Had a long stressful week at work 3 glasses of wine in and now snuggling on the sofa watching Im a Celebrity!

If things go on like the last week she will be almost "normal" tomorrow and we will enjoy a nice day together. Wine certainly helps I'm carful not to overdo the wine

Enjoy it! I'm 22 weeks preg and wish I could get pissed and enjoy a jacket potato. I'm stuck eating the same salad over and over as literally anything else sounds horrid to me or makes me ill! Already got my bottle of Veuve in the fridge for next March! Cheers!
