I am currently buying this, which is nice. What do you have in your bathrooms or sinks? (I have one by the kitchen sink as well)

Pure Liquid Soap of Marseille - Verbena Lemon – EcoBeauty

I love this but it's expensive so I don't buy it although I did buy some once from a hotel we stayed at that had it in the bathroom

100 Acres | Luxury Natural Botanical Hand Wash Liquid Soap

When we were trying to sell our house I had this in every bathroom which is ridiculously expensive and so when it ran out I didn't replace it

Resurrection Aromatique Hand Wash | Aesop UK

You? I am aware that this is a very trivial subject but it's Friday afternoon and I've had enough of work!

Carex with Macadamia oil or Shea butter.

We use Smol foaming handwash - you intially buy a handpump and then they send you soluble tablets through the post.

Oh thanks for this. We use a few smol products but didn't realise this was one!
I usually buy 5L bottles of handwash to refill bottles but would prefer tablets I can make up at home.

I like the M&S Apothecary range for the bathroom sink - currently the “balance” one and bought a refill bag along with it. We have whatever’s to hand in the kitchen, currently a Carex lemon blossom one, and in the shower I use Imperial Leather bar soap, DP has Origins orange shower gel.

mindutopia · 15/11/2024 21:25

The 90p a bottle Tesco stuff. And nope, pretty much always the same, though I may vary the scent from time to time.

pumpkinpillow · 15/11/2024 21:52

Faith in nature bar soap. No idea what flavour, it's green and is more herby than fruity or floral.

Nat6999 · 15/11/2024 21:59

Imperial Leather, it's the soap I always buy, if i it's unavailable, then I buy Pears soap.

BeatriceAndLottie · 15/11/2024 22:01

Method foaming hand soap, normally in green tea + aloe scent. It’s all natural, smells amazing and isn’t drying at all

TravellingJack · 15/11/2024 22:04

Lidl do Aesop dupes. We have a few different ones and they're all lovely and pretty indistinguishable from a real Aesop one we had. The fragrance lingers too - I can tell whether someone has washed their hands now or not, looking at you, DS!

I used to buy random ones in TK Maxx but the Lidl ones are my current favourites. They also have L'Occitane dupes and a few other brands, all for around £2-4 I think.

TheFormidableMrsC · 15/11/2024 22:06

I buy from TK Maxx. Gorgeous soaps, liquid and bar, and really excellent quality.

RailwayCutting · 15/11/2024 22:07

The green Pears bar smells nice.
Kew Gardens bluebell smells lovely too.

Nsky62 · 15/11/2024 22:10

Bio d liquid soap, love the fragrances, always gentle

ShinyAppleDreamingOfTheSea · 15/11/2024 22:16

Dove in the shower and whatever liquid hand wash my DH brings back from the supermarket by the sink.

FuckThePoPo · 15/11/2024 22:17

I like bar soap for me (floris)

for the masses has anyone tried the new imperial leather liquid soaps? I used to get a massive load of loccitaine from qvc would last a year or so but I got a free sample of the imperial leather and it's really good

woffley · 15/11/2024 22:30

I only use bar soap and bar shampoo.
Pears blue, green and original alternating.
I've asked for posh bar soap for Christmas but probably won't get any because people think it's a boring present.

honestasever · 15/11/2024 22:32

I was going to post but then saw you had linked to the Aesop one we have anyway:

I love it and it last for ages

buffyspikefaithangel · 15/11/2024 22:32

I change it all the time!

Currently main bathroom has
Simple bar soap and Aldi Kevin the carrot hand wash

En suite has Aesop

I like bath and body works ones too

buffyspikefaithangel · 15/11/2024 22:35

My other fave and the Lidl Aesop dupe

Bamford in the bathroom at the moment. Byredo suede in the kitchen- it’s a strong smell so great for cooking smells!

oohyoudevilyou · 15/11/2024 22:44

Dudu Osun African black soap ...very cheap from larger ethnic groceries.

There’s a notable French soap mafia on here.

But I was in a hotel last year where they had Molton Brown triple milled milk soap in the room. That was both plain and luxurious and classic. V pleasant

There is! I’m interested in this as it’s mentioned a couple of times, is it really good for garlicky hands?

I got fed up with Aesop after it became so ubiquitous (and prices went through the roof). I was then using Haeckels handwash (the collab with Watchouse coffee) but I've moved on to Gloved in Soft Nude which I am totally in love with!! My hands feel so much softer and the scent is subtle but lovely. I get the refills every few months. I'm also in love with the Gloved hand cream. Wonderful stuff!

www.gloved.co.uk/products/soft-nude-active-hydrate-hand-wash

Aesop is everywhere I agree, I haven’t heard of Gloved so thanks

I definitely judge a restaurant or pub on the soap in their loos

I am interested in how many people have different soaps in different bathrooms and save their favourites for their en suite! I did that for a while too, kids had cheaper stuff, I had 100 Acres.

This one:

It costs £1 for a large bottle, and it smells amazing.
