Celebs where you don’t expect to see them

I did a drivers awareness course today, one of the online courses where the group joins via teams or whatever it is. You only see everyone’s face and first name.
Anyway, there was one participant that after a while of thinking she was familiar, I realised she’s a TV presenter. I’m certain it was her, but if it wasn’t then this woman with the same name shares an uncanny resemblance.

I don’t spot many celebs where I live so it was quite exciting to be sharing a space with one. Even if it was that particular space. She seemed very pleasant.

Ever had any random celeb spots like that?

I don't know about not expect to see somewhere, but family saw Harry styles turn up at Nick Grimshaws house years ago on a house maintenance type job, both really nice. Simon pegg in a tesco, again very nice! We don't live anywhere near London so a nice surprise I guess 😂 can't get out without seeing Richard Hammond, his wife Mindy or Liz Hurley though, they're often in the local supermarkets

Simon le Bon visited his friend who was a patient of mine when I worked on an orthopaedic ward. He came and asked me if his friend was going to be OK.

Sebastian Coe lit the bonfire in our town fireworks a decade ago, or more. Doubt the council could afford his appearance fee these days.

For some reason Jo Brand at Legoland really tickled me.

I realised who he was in the nick of time. Just before I said "how lovely tonseebyou again, do remind me of your name, I know we've met before". He's very tall.

We were at traffic lights and my granddaughter started to giggle and she said That man's pulling funny faces at me! When I looked as we pulled away I vaguely recognised him and only realised later that it was Prince Harry!

You are given a stern warning on driver awareness courses not to talk about anyone else you've seen on the course.

I saw Jo Joyner twice in my local co op she has since moved to the next county. It was embarrassing meeting her the woman in front of me said she looked different compared to how she looks on screen. To be fair she did just have twins so you can't expect her to suddenly lose all her mummy weight.

I recall reading that that incident was a set up using a look-alike, not sure how true that is.

Indira Varma went to the same pregnancy yoga class as me (and was much better than me at it!).
