Good Morning All! What are you all up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, in my kitchen spot, with girl kitten curled up at my feet. Not sure where boy kitten is, possibly at the top of their tower.

Dd1's up already! She fed them, cleaned their litter box, and made tea for both of us 😱. Dd2's still sleeping.

We don't have much planned for the day today - dd1 has a bit of work to finish for college and some improvements to her UCAS personal statement to make. And dd2 has Spanish homework to finish, I think.

My plan is to write a list of the Christmas gifts I bought yesterday, clean both bathrooms, bake at least one Christmas cake, and finish the crochet Pig the Pug I've been doing over half term so I can make Trevor over the next day or two (v. optimistic - may be more like week!).

No idea what's for tea yet 🤷‍♀️ it was meant to be stew but no-one got the meat out, so probably something from the freezer today, and stew tomorrow.

Was up early with the puppy so sat here catching up on this week's Corrie and drinking lots of coffee because he's gone back to sleep. I have zero plans this weekend but I do have housework and ironing to do. Might open the wine and watch a film whilst I iron.

Good morning Lucysmam and others. I've had two coffees and two slices of raisin and cranberry bread with butter so I'm firing on all cylinders. Well done on being so ahead with Christmas!
Yesterday I had a very busy and productive day. Today I'll do the housework and washing. I might go to Hobbycraft for art supplies and my local garden centre for compost. I have a few bulbs still to pot up. I intend to have bacon and sausages for lunch and a little Bolognese for dinner, if I get it cooking in the slow cooker. Have a nice day.

I'm sitting having a coffee -getting over a cold. Will take the dog out in a bit and then plan to make my Christmas cake and finish a job application. It's a year since my mum passed away and I've been clearing her house which has been exhausting. Tonight I'll watch and film with DH and maybe DS if he doesn't go out

Sat here drinking my coffee before I wake both DC up.
We are off out this morning, both DC are bringing some friends with them, will have lunch out.
I plan on a lazy afternoon watching some TV, unsure what's for dinner later, most likely something quick and easy.
May have a few drinks this evening if we put a film on.
Our crazy kitten is now fast asleep after being on a mad one all morning

Currently on the sofa watching Grizzy and the Lemmings with DS. He's a bit clingy this morning and follows me round like a puppy when I get up for anything, so the sofa it is! Not sure what it is about Grizzy but this programme has him CRACKING UP every few minutes to very entertaining and heartwarming to watch him.

Later I need to do some unpacking - we went away for a few days for half term - and adjust my Tesco order for tomorrow. I also want to make some firework chocolate stick things I saw on Insta for tonight, and put hot chocs in flasks! Then off to the local fireworks, maybe with a Nando's first 😋 ~ to make sure we get there early and get decent parking, obviously 😂

Good morning everyone. Just me awake in the house atm, dh and dd20 are both at work, the other two girls are still asleep.

im setting off for my wax appointment in 10 minutes and will nip into Tesco on my way home to pick up 2 things I forgot to add to my online order which is due around 12.

The house needs cleaning as always and we need to put the Halloween decorations and the cat carrier back in the attic and bring one of the suitcases down as we need to start packing for me and dh going away on Wednesday for 4 nights - dd20 has kindly agreed to babysit dd10 while we’re away and then she’s going staying with dh’s parents from Friday til we get home on Sunday.

I need to drop dd10 at her friend’s house at 4pm for a fireworks party they’re having and I’ll pick her up later that evening.

Tea tonight is a Chinese takeaway then a film before bed. I’m tired today so already looking forward to going to bed tonight!

I’m the only one up in my house at the moment, so just having breakfast. We went away for half term so need to get through the mountains of washing and then catch up on work before going back next week. If it stops raining I will lift my dahlias and have a general review of the garden to see what spaces I have for planting. Ds will have his girlfriend over and dd, who is nd will probably use the day to unwind. Dh has people over tonight for a d&d session and I will watch F1 qualifying.

Have had a lay in as was up late last night after a bit of an odd day.
DC are downstairs and I can smell DDs cupcakes cooking (heaven!). She is making them for our friends Halloween party this evening. It's just occurred to me we don't have any sprinkles so we may have to jump in the car to the cake shop and get some Halloween themed ones.

Lazy day planned and I need to get through all the washing to put away, hoover and go through the crafts cupboard as its all out everywhere. Need to go through all my paper work. Sort out my work bits for upcoming end of contract so need to start arranging return of files/tech. DD has got some homework.

DS will probably want to help her ice the cakes and then chill out. He has SEN so I am trying to get him to chill out as much as possible before back to school because it takes so much out of him.

Burritos for tea, tomorrow we are off to see my best friend and his DC and then probably a roast.
Had some sad news yesterday about a family friend, so I am going to hug my babies very tight today.

Got back from a night shift, came home opened curtains then the flamin curtain pole came down. That's fixed now, dogs fed, sitting down for 5 mins then off to bed for a few hours. Got to go into town this afternoon with my eldest.

Good morning, it lovely and sunny here, but we’re having a cold snap so its very chilly.

I’ve cleaned our chickens out this morning, our girls had laid a few eggs so we’ve let a few in with them as it will supposedly prevent over laying.

No real plans today, we finished watching agatha all along yesterday, so we’ll let our son watch the last two episodes today now we know its okay. I’ve been off work for quite a while, I’m back next week so I might get a few bits ready foe that and start going through my emails today.

Got up very early to prep for the cleaner arriving at 8.30 and the farrier at 9. So far the cleaner is trying to get her car going so doesn't know what time she'll arrive and the farrier 'says' he'll be here at 12. Ha!

I'm on my second cuppa of the morning. I've put the first wash of the day on and will have an hour or so of housework so it's nice and fresh for the weekend.

Hoping to get a couple of hours to myself this afternoon for a coffee and some Christmas shopping.

Tonight will be a takeaway, maybe a curry and a nice bottle of wine.

DD and the dogs are planning a trip to the beach today. It’s not sunny so I’m doubtful either us will go in for a dip.

Absolutely nothing today, which will be heaven! I’ve had a ridiculously busy couple of weeks at work (lots of overtime), and I’m knackered and enjoying a lie in. Might have to do a food shop since there’s very little in, but trying to push that to tomorrow. I may make a start on my Christmas lists (presents and food). DS2 has been up since 6, and by default so has DH! DS2 still in bed, probably with the cat.

Good morning @lucysmam & everyone. DH at work until lunchtime & I’m catching up with Emmerdale instead of doing the dishwasher & kitchen surfaces which are minging! Need to put some clothes in the tumble dryer - don’t think it will rain but it’s dull & cold. I need to book my car in for some work before the MOT & I need to book a cut/colour. Wanting to go red again. DD15 is in her room as per. Going to ask if she wants to watch Heartstopper with me. I might do a food shop. We don’t need much as I went to Tescos the other day. Tea will be DH’s chocolate chilli which is currently defrosting with either rice or jacket spuds, grated cheese & sour cream. Might be sitting with DM this afternoon but waiting to hear if DF is going out.

End of half term here. DS has just returned from a week at the seaside with his cousins. I've worked all week and have a policy to write and end of month books to do. But then I've got a book to finish that I really got into last weekend but haven't had chance to look at yet.

DD is at uni and is just sending photos of her two Halloween fancy dress parties this week. So proud of her but still feel lost at weekends without her!

I've cleaned the fire out and we've had breakfast. No other chores to do. Just enjoying another tea before a dog walk, then I'll crack on with that book.

DS is pestering for Chinese for tea, but I'm trying to lose weight so not sure yet.

Good morning all. I'm still in bed, having my 1st cup of tea dh made me. Dh and ds have now popped out to get some building supplies. I think ds2 is still in bed. We had a busy but nice day out yesterday, so I think he's tired. I'm not going to do too much this morning, just potter, read a book, maybe start some lego with ds2. We're going to MIL for lunch, so we will see BIL/SIL/nephew. Ds might be having a friend over tonight. We're having a takeaway for dinner and probably watch a film. Usually, I'd be happy as it's the start of the weekend, but I'm just feeling sad that there are only 2 days left before I have to go back to work 😢

No plans for us today apart from putting our Autumn decor away. I’ll clean the house and then we’ll put up our new curtains in the office.

I expect we’ll relax and find a new series to watch this evening, since we’ve finished watching Ludwig, which we loved!

Good morning Saturday gang. I was up with the larks this morning - gym, Aldi, load of washing on, put a few bits on Vinted and I’m currently finishing the pre Christmas deep clean of the kitchen.
Going shopping this afternoon with DH for DNephew’s birthday gift and new towels and accessories for the bathroom.
Seabass with potatoes and chorizo for dinner tonight which I am already looking forward to then we’ll catch up on last nights Googlebox. It’s DH’s turn to choose a film so who knows what we’ll end up watching.

Good morning @lucysmam and following folk, I’ve been awake since 5🙄
Very productive so far, it won't last! Dog and I were out at 7am for an hour, had a coffee when we got back.
I have tackled the ironing and put it away before sorting through my fabric stash and putting it in the drawers in my craft room instead of in boxes in the cupboard where it was a pain to keep dragging everything out to find what I wanted.
Just having a cold drink before I settle down in my craft room to do some slow stitching I think- I also have a tapestry set up and ready to go and a pair of socks for DGS2 to get on with so a nice choice.
My IBS is playing up so I will probably need another hot water bottle or two in a bit.
I have no idea what is for dinner today, plenty in the fridge so we won’t starve!

Good morning everyone ☺️ what a lovely, cosy thread. I’d love to add my plans…which are currently IN THE BATH, with loads of magnesium added. Lovely and relaxing. Had friends over for dinner last night so the kitchen/dining living room are all tidy!! Win. Both kids at scout camp so DH and I are going out for dinner; early booking so we can still get a good sleep. He’ll probably want to spend hours of today bonking but he should be clearing the loft per the plan!! So, fending off ‘child free house, bonk seeking’ hubby can be added to the list too 🤣🤣🤣

Having a coffee with DW before we start on some housework. The cats are sleeping on the sofa between us. DD(6) is awake and reading in her bedroom, DS(13) is still asleep.

We're going to a fireworks display/fair thing this evening. Tempted to treat us all to a McDonald's for lunch, I haven't had a McChicken sandwich in ages!

Recovery from an injury recently which will involve lots of snacks films and wine. Have a good day all.

Good morning @lucysmam and all. Chilly one here today so will be whizzing out to run some errands then heading home to the warm. Have some sorry looking bananas in the fruit bowl so plan to make a banana and chocolate chip cake and maybe some brownies for back to school treats. 😋

Home alone today. Only thing I have to do is pop out to the fireplace fitters down the road to select a hearth and log stove so they can finalise thier quote. I might tone my hair and do a charity shop run with things I no longer need.
