Good Morning All! What are you all up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, in my kitchen spot, with girl kitten curled up at my feet. Not sure where boy kitten is, possibly at the top of their tower.

Dd1's up already! She fed them, cleaned their litter box, and made tea for both of us 😱. Dd2's still sleeping.

We don't have much planned for the day today - dd1 has a bit of work to finish for college and some improvements to her UCAS personal statement to make. And dd2 has Spanish homework to finish, I think.

My plan is to write a list of the Christmas gifts I bought yesterday, clean both bathrooms, bake at least one Christmas cake, and finish the crochet Pig the Pug I've been doing over half term so I can make Trevor over the next day or two (v. optimistic - may be more like week!).

No idea what's for tea yet 🤷‍♀️ it was meant to be stew but no-one got the meat out, so probably something from the freezer today, and stew tomorrow.

Good morning @lucysmam. I was up at 6am because I was cold and hungry. Went downstairs, fed the cat, had some buttered maltloaf and a cup of horlicks, filled my hotwater bottle and eventually came back to bed. DH brought me second breakfast of marmite on toast and a cup of tea about an hour ago so I could take my meds. I am now toasty warm and sleepy so I'm going back to sleep for a bit.

When I get up I'm going to poach all the different bits of fish we have unearthed from the freezer to make a delicious fish pie base. My youngest is coming to stay with her toddler on Thursday and fish pie always goes down well (it will be frozen in between). Then we are going to the theatre this afternoon so we will go early and have pizza there beforehand. Just meatballs, beans and chips this evening I think.

Tomorrow will probably be spent getting everything ready for my youngest's visit.

Morning everyone! :)

I'm full of cold and had a rotten sleep thanks to the tickly cough, so I'm still in bed with the dogs. DW took them for a walk and is now off to Aldi while I stay firmly here.

I'm going to watch something on my laptop and do some crocheting, trying to desperately finish a blanket I've made for my friend's baby who was due on halloween- no news yet.

Have the in laws and nephews and grandma over for lunch today so PIL can do some jobs for us (put up blinds etc) but I'll stay upstairs out the way so I don't give anyone this rotten cold.

Morning everyone. It's been a productive one so far. I did a weights session in the gym first thing this morning then came home and had a shower and a coffee.

DH is doing a sudoku and I've been making cupcakes with DDs. I'm still in my dressing gown after my shower so need to get dressed and then we'll pop into town to pick up some things for dinner. Planning on chilli with jacket potatoes. I also need to buy a little plug in heater for the spare bedroom as I am freezing working from home but would rather heat one room than the whole house.

We're heading over to a friend's house this afternoon for the children to play and to have a catch up. I also need to clean but may put that off to tomorrow morning.

Just back from swimming / hair cut / library / run around the park (was out at 9am!)

I was feeling poorly yesterday - headache, nausea, achy etc but have woken up feeling like a new woman today. Hopefully I've managed to stave off whatever it was.

Going to watch the Arsenal game on TV soon and do lunches and after lunch clean up then we're off out for fireworks (just at my siblings, not any of the big displays). Am just roasting some jacket spuds and making a coleslaw to take, someone else is bringing a pot of chilli and they'll be providing the sausages and burgers. Last BBQ of the year!

Planning an early night to prep us all for back to school on Monday.

Afternoon... We were up and off to Aldi by half 8. I've been on holiday this week. Stopped at Poundstretcher and then home. Did some ironing. Pizza for lunch. Special church service for All Souls this afternoon.. Reading out the names of those who have died..
Strictly later . I have wine for tonight.. Will get some chocolate after church.... ♥️

Took the dog out for a romp around at 7.30 this morning - realised we still have some work to do on recall. Back for coffee and got DD up for her dance and drama class. Have coffee plans with a friend this afternoon but also need to do some cleaning and laundry. Knackered after a busy week so cleaning might wait til tomorrow. DS is in gaming heaven after coming out early with the dog.
