I’ve just discovered an actor from the 1940s and 50s called Randolph Scott. He was super famous then - understandably - but seems to be much less well known now. Well suffice it to say my ‘Bobby socks’ are well and truly blown off! What do we all think?

Brad Pitt in that episode of Friends.
But yes , Paul Newman is good.
The most manly man ever, Sir Tom in his Vegas heyday .

I went to 2 Asylum conventions in Birmingham a few years ago now and met both Jenson and Jared. Both gorgeous, as was Misha Collins 😍But Jensen was something else. He was just stunning and so nice too. Ruth Connell is absolutely stunning too and we were also surprised by how small she was! 😂She is a little pocket rocket but she was one of my faves.

I don't find him attractive at all. He looks like an average uncle! But then I don't think many of the ones posters have suggested are, especially eg Harrison Ford etc.

That felon was hot, in fairness. Also Jude Law.

I'm kind of hoping the rumours of looking into a season 16 are true, as I'm curious what they would do for it. Would it be a time in between Ep 19 and 20 of final season, would it be after then and something to do with Jack needing help, would it be based on one of the multi verses where the Series finale didn't happen! What could it be!?!

They need to redo that rushed utter bollocks ending! I watched it from the 1st episode every week, me&by best friend together, we loved it, but that ending and how they portrayed Dean in the last 2 series I hated it! My best friend didn't, she didn't love it, but she didn't hate it.

I always think there's a big difference between appreciating classically handsome men and finding them sexually attractive.

I can see the symmetrical beauty in the faces of Paul Newman, Robert Redford, Brad Pitt etc but I don't get the fanny gallops from them at all.

Michael Hutchence or older Robert Downey Jnr while nowhere near as conventionally handsome, def ring my bell.

Santiago Cabrera, Alain Delon, Simon Jones the cricketer, 1970's Clint Eastwood - all totally lush. Plus Paul McCartney looked very good with a beard in the 60/80's.
Steve McQueen and Paul Newman in the Towering Inferno just looked supercool although I went off Paul Newman when I found out how he treated his previous wife and family.

I’ve always found men of generations before more attractive than current celebrities. James Dean, Marlin Brando, Dean Martin have always made me swoon. Now I’m 37 and I’m starting to get the attraction with older men. Sam Elliot for example ☺️

If your telly is still set up to get telly as it's broadcast then Channel 82 on Freeview - Talking Pictures is amazing for old cinema. It was clearly set up for old people but I know a few film curators and journalists who are obsessed with it.

Also iplayer > movies > classic selection has a load of movies from RKO studio, some absolute classics in there.

There are also lots on Youtube. You could do something like search for 100 best film noirs and then see what's on there.
