Oh, I'm so sorry bestie!!!
I think Joanne is a hypocrite. Pure and simple.
She built a career on purposely hiding her feminine name to help boost her sales. And went on to use another male pseudonym after a very successful franchise... it screams internalised misogyny to me... again, it's truly a pity she isn't confident in the power of female authors.
She also built a successful franchise with the core themes of love and acceptance in all forms. She happily pushed this agenda to those who felt marginalised by society for who they are, often vulnerable teenagers, once she lined her pockets enough, turned her back on those who got her there. And that's not even with getting into the thinly veiled racist and homophobic stereotypes in her work.
I find it HILARIOUS that her entire career is based on creating work that she won't put against her name, instead happy to hide behind a male name when it suits her...
She's free to identify with and as whatever she wants, that's her right and perogative of course. Just think it's a bit hypocritical that she can't offer that to others.
Hope that answers your question!
