I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, in my kitchen spot. The kittens are dashing about like loons & no one else is up yet so it's semi-peaceful 😊

I'm just going to sit here for a while in the quiet before getting sorted to take dd2 to Specsavers at midday & dd1 to the bank to change her account. I'll potter a bit putting washing in, washing up, and tidying round too, so it's not there to come home to.

Both girls will have homework so they'll probably get on with that after town & then we'll have homemade burgers for tea 😋. Accompanied by a glass of red for me 🍷

My plan for tonight is to either sit down with my crochet for a while, or one of my books 🤔 Not sure which yet.

Just about to make my first coffee. Then I'll do the puzzles on LinkedIn. No Parkrun. I'm still getting rid of covid-wheeze. I'll try a short jog later and see how it goes.

I'll nip out and do the food shop, pack it away and then I'm free for the day. Probably do some gardening, chores, chase DS to do his homework.

I need to do some research for a job interview on Monday. Maybe make a chocolate cake.

Quiet day at home really. 🤗

I’m having a cup of tea and trying to stop the cat head butting me for attention.

One of us needs to take DD to football in a bit and I also need to go to the shop to drop off a parcel for UPS to send to my brother in Germany. Will probably need to take DD shopping in town this afternoon as she’s going to a party tomorrow so need card and present.

Going to my mums for dinner and Strictly watching tonight. Will probably end up staying over as no one can drive anywhere after one of my stepdad’s G&Ts!

Just having my 2nd cup of coffee. OH and ds2 are up, ds1 still in bed. He had a long day at uni yesterday then was working last night.

I'm popping out with mum today to drop some bags off at the charity shop and then going to the library as mum has lost her card. Uni officially starts for me today so will sit and do some of that later with strictly on in the background, then watch a film later with OH.

Good morning, its another sunny day here, so far anyway. The dogs sulking because the cat is sat near his bed, so he obviously can’t get on his bed ever again.

We’ve had pancakes for breakfast today, our son managed to do it all on his own, and for once didn’t destroy the kitchen in the process. He’s after something, so he’s trying to impress.

My husband has a football match later so we’ll go and watch him play, theres a little park next door so the kids can always go there if they get a bit bored.

The new heartstopper season is out, my husbands already watched episode one, so we’ll all watch that together today.

I have to go and paint a stable 🤦🏻‍♀️. And I've got a godawful chest infection and feel dreadful.

Assuming I survive that I'm going to M&S for cheeses and nice things for tea in front of Strictly and then going to bed very early and staying there until Monday!

This is my first doing nothing weekend for weeeeks. We had holiday prep, then holiday, then uni prep, then moving in weekend, then I spent last weekend fixing the house from all the above. I have not still been in my pjs at this time since July!

Hence I'm on my second cuppa, dog is still in bed and I have zero plans except for a long peaceful walk with her later. Maybe even finish my holiday book.

We had said earlier in the week we would go for a carvery today, but we decided to get pizza last night instead so not sure on tea. We like crappy food in front of the tv on Saturdays!

Here I’m on the 3rd day of a migraine…thought it had gone but has reared it’s ugly head once more… they have just spiralled out of all control since starting a course alongside work…

In bed with tea, toast, DH and medication. If things shift and feel up to it, we might pop to Curry’s as in need of a new kettle.

If medication doesn’t kick in, will return to under the covers and ride out the storm.

Just had my second cup of tea and breakfast, ignored the cat who wants to go out again.

I’m off to see Galeon Andalucia, which is a replica of a 16th/17th century ship currently moored at St Katherine’s Dock. Meeting up with DB and his family and maybe taking a friend along.

Later on it’ll be dinner (undecided what to have yet), bath and The Voice with a couple of gin and tonics with snacks.

Ds has a swim meet this weekend.

So I'll be at a swimming pool - which really isn't a change from the norm of being their twice a day anyway 😂🤷‍♀️

I feel for you. I'm suffering cluster headaches atm. 4 days on and 4 days off.

It's really soul destroying!

Just had a sausage sandwich.
I'm then wrapping the last of the Christmas presents before my granddaughter arrives this afternoon.

Just having a cup of coffee. Will have breakfast in a bit then tidy the bedroom, go for a run (just 20 mins), do some skincare and wash hair. Then help DD with studying! Hopefully read my book or watch heartstopper with DD tonight

We will go to the allotment and decide if it is time to harvest apples and pears for cider making.

We have DD and DSIL visiting this weekend so this afternoon I might get a jigsaw out for DD and I to work on while chatting and watching a murder mystery of some sort.

Have worked through learning track for forthcoming choir concert. Covid jab. Then will start writing article.

Good morning everyone, it’s my usual slow start this morning. Dh and dd20 are both at work, dd17 stayed at a friend’s last night and dd10 is still asleep so I’ve had a peaceful couple of hours to myself.

I’m waiting for my Tesco shop and could really do with cleaning the house but I’m not in the mood today. I have to pop to the uniform shop to collect a few bits I’ve ordered for dd10 but other than that I’ve no idea if anyone has any other plans.

I’ll be ordering a takeaway for the dc for tea tonight and me and dh are going for a meal in our favourite restaurant then meeting friends for a few drinks after that. The older girls have kindly agreed to babysit dd10 so we can go out for a few hours. I can’t wait!

Hope anyone who has been ill feels better soon. I'm slowly getting over flu. Currently writing words out for a five year old to copy. We could be doing this for a while yet. Older two haven't surfaced from their caves.

DH went out early to do something faffy with our caravan so it's quiet here. I'm having a coffee and looking over my first OU assignment to see what I need to do.

DH and I are going out to lunch at a slightly more fancy than usual place and will probably have a mooch around town - we're going on holiday next month so might see if there's anything vaguely summery left in the shops.

DD is going to London with friends and will be back early hours.

DS is working 2-10 and then going to his GFs until Monday.

DDog is with a sitter all afternoon who will also walk him so hopefully he'll be nice and tired when we pick him up.

Dinner will depend on how much we eat at lunch - probably no cooking so that's a win! We might watch a film tonight or if we can't find anything we both want to watch we might have a game of scrabble - my 20 year old self is rolling her eyes - scrabble on a Saturday night!!

Good morning! I'm taking DD1 to the opticians for her eye test and likely new glasses, we're going charity shopping and having lunch, then doing the weekly food shop. Apart from that we are carrying on with the revamp/cull/reorganisation of our kitchen and watching trashy TV together. DD being here is strictly temporary, so I'm making the most of time with her.

Good morning @lucysmam & the Saturday gang. Just having my first cuppa of the day even though I’ve been up since 7.30. Recently come off my antidepressants & now I’m no longer getting the awful hungover feeling in the mornings. Popped to the Post Office to post a parcel then collected some bits from a lady who sells loads of stuff for a local charity. Another beautiful sunny Autumn day here in Cornwall. Quite breezy. Just put the dishwasher on & contemplating dusting the lounge. DH is working but home in about 10 mins. He’s dropping me to the station later as I’m going to a matinee - booked it months ago & it will make a nice change. Relish time on my own. I might pop into M & S after the show. DH making his famous chocolate chilli for tea & we have basmati rice & sour cream. Watching The Voice tonight. I’m gradually catching up on Strictly. Still need to watch Thursday’s episode of All Creatures Great & Small - love that programme!

Good morning @lucysmam . I look forward to your posts at the weekend. I was awake for 3 hours during the night again so I only woke up an hour ago. My DH has brought me my breakfast in bed and I've taken all my medication for the morning (16 pills!)

I'm getting up after I've written this as I have to make a cake for middle grandson's birthday. His birthday tea is this evening and we are going over there to eat - and to provide the cake!

I don't have anything else planned for today, other than the usual weekend job of the laundry, and I need to book swimming for this month otherwise I won't be able to go on Monday as I usually do.

Off I go to make the cake!

GnomedePlume I don’t drink anymore but drinking me would have loved the sound of homemade pear cider!

Taking the toddler to my mum's for a couple of hours in a minute not feeling too well and she occupies herself so much better at my mum's then home so I'll snuggle down on the sofa under a blanket there.
