Best thing you have ever watched on YouTube.

If I’m having a “can’t find anything to watch” night I always default back to YouTube and 9/10 I find something obscure that I will then sit glued to for a couple of hours.

Old re-runs of crime watch, 1990 documentary’s, lifetime/true movies or American police interviews, I never know what going to pop up..

I wondered what’s the best diamond you have found on you tube that you have enjoyed, found interesting or been captivated by.

Mr Ballen.

Some great recommendations here, now totally hooked on watching Christmas card making!

Vasya in the Hay is fascinating. It shows people’s lives in rural Russia and how the team try their best to help people.

The Polish rug cleaner sends me to sleep. Just videos of rugs being washed, great for insomnia. Lubuskie Centrum I think.

Anything Japanese especially the artisans who create exquisite things, eg masks, fans, teapots, kimonos and shoes. The Japanese railway journeys are fantastic. I would love to visit but doubt that I’ll ever go.

Oh yes I remember Vasya in the hay. Some people's living conditions are shocking!

Our Day out was a good watch, set in 1977, so relevant to my school days

Deathraystare · 16/02/2025 08:18

The World of Xtra - The Japanese family really like me laugh. Mainly eating around Japan, buying stuff etc.

The ex Amish guy whose name I have forgotten - Eli Yoda or something.

All the paranormal stuff.

Also for some reason I love watching guys (it is mainly guys) who park out in the woods. I am even fascinated by their equipment! Also the van life people.

Also several ones where people from abroad (mainly US) try out British food and snacks. I love the two ladies and the ghost hunter guy who try out different stuff.

The 3 Southern cats who 'talk'.

There is an English lady who goes around Harrods et al (so we don't have to!) and the food halls are fascinating.

I also used to follow a Russian couple and their child but cannot remember their name.

I vaguely remember a guy that travelled on buses in UK and would try to cram in as much travelling as he could in a day.

The lovely black family who settled in UK for a while (might well be back in USA now). I think he had a farming background and they would go to county fairs. Lovely well behaved kids!

The comedian (?Richard) who dresses up as 'mum' and is often passive aggressive and always shouts at her husband "David!........"

Raye's performance of Oscar Winning Tears at the Royal Albert Hall. She is incredible.

I've become a bit obsessed and have started watching YouTube videos of people's reactions to this performance.

I think I need help.

old videos of london and other areas, really interesting.

SandalsandPools · 16/02/2025 09:50

If you like cute animal videos the short video of a cyclist meeting a family of skunks is adorable. The noises that they make are so cute.

Yes! Well, he was one of the guys. I love how respectful he is.

Fred Dibnah climbing up huuuuge chimneys on a rickety ladder without any scaffolding and barely any ropes and then standing at the top of them to smoke a fag

HothouseFlower · 26/02/2025 21:30

Country Life Vlog - cooking in Azerbaijan in real time, slow telly. It's so relaxing! The animals are adorable!

The cooking pizza in the snow one is fascinating:
