I think Stokes is meant to be good but not sure where to buy it from. Any other quality tomato sauces? Going off Heinz a bit.

Rubies in the Rubble. Yum.

Stokes is lovely. You definitely get it in Waitrose and on Ocado. I'm sure I've seen it in Waitrose but we don't have one nearby.

I really like the Rubies in the Rubble one too, but no one else in my family does.

I've recently bought the Mutti ketchup. It's much nicer than Heinz

Rubies in the Rubble converts here.

Stokes is good yes. Also Sauce Shop.

Hellman's or M and S. Tesco sent us the Hellman's as a substitute and we switched.

LivelyGoldOrca · 01/10/2024 19:08

M and s. - its a £1!

JemOfAWoman · 01/10/2024 19:08

M&S ketchup - nicer than Heinz and cheaper as well

DeliciousApples · 01/10/2024 19:08

I suffer aldis. It's not that bad. But it's not Heinz.

RabbitsRock · 01/10/2024 19:09

Where can I buy Rubies In The Rubble? Great name!

Another vote for M&S

BuffyWillow · 01/10/2024 19:11

We get Daddies, it's made by Heinz just a little thinner.

MattDamon · 01/10/2024 19:12

I thought the M&S brand was too vinegary. Tesco is alright and Amazon (from Amazon Fresh) is good.

doodlydooo · 01/10/2024 19:12

I love M&S ketchup, I feel like you can really taste the tomatoes.. I only recently discovered it when we needed somewhere to sit to feed our 18 month old her lunch and their cafe serves everything from their food hall, it was lovely.

LunaticinProgress · 01/10/2024 19:12

I sometimes get a del monte ketchup, it was amazing, can be difficult to find though! There was also a one in Lidl I like (not batts), I think it is called dawtona. I like this one when they have it in!

SometimesCalmPerson · 01/10/2024 19:13

Waitrose ketchup is cheaper and nicer, but not too different to Heinz.

MugPlate · 01/10/2024 19:13

Mr Organic, every time.

Yes, I thought this too.

JanefromLondon1 · 01/10/2024 19:14

M&S all their condiments are excellent, cheaper than Heinz and made in the UK.

Stokes tartare sauce is the bees knees though and there is no substitute.

RabbitsRock · 01/10/2024 19:16

doodlydooo it just doesn’t taste of tomatoes

Mutti

ArizonaRobbinss · 01/10/2024 19:18

Can't say I mind Aldi tbh

SanMarzano · 01/10/2024 19:18

Seconding Mr Organic, it’s tomatoey and not too sweet or too vinegary.
