Stupid question about Diddy

FS90 · 26/09/2024 20:42

Sorry if this is stupid but if Diddy knew he was going to be arrested and flew specifically to be arrested, with all his money and power why didn’t he just go somewhere that doesn’t have an extradition agreement with America? He’s been denied 50 million dollars bail so it’s obviously bad. Couldn’t he have got out?

OP posts:
TheCryingTheBitchAndTheFloordrobe · 26/09/2024 21:53

His passport and those of his immediate family were confiscated near the beginning of the investigation.

Also he and his lawyers definitely didn’t expect him to be denied bail, that why he paid off the outstanding loans on his house, so he could use it as collateral.

Sunseasand1 · 26/09/2024 22:10

Can someone explain what’s happened / alleged her to have happened please?
I can’t make sense of the media.

silverandyellow · 26/09/2024 22:10

I don't think his passports were confiscated, he voluntarily handed them over in the belief I think the judge will look at him favourably. I also think he didn't expect to be denied bail.

There's a long history of domestic abuse, trafficking, rape and drugging.

MrsRobinsonsHandprints · 26/09/2024 22:15

My question is why now?

And is probably linked to the passport issue

For years he has been protected, it has been on twitter for years, videos as well, and yet nothing.

He obviously handed over his passport thinking that he would be protected - so what changed?

(And it isn't morality - because he could have been charged years ago)

RobinEllacotStrike · 26/09/2024 23:19

He's a very powerful man who has been doing whatever the fuck he want to do, to whomever he chooses to do it to,, for years. He's been untouchable & is lauded by the great and good of his country - including presidents- for years.

I imagine he did not ever think anyone would ever have the audacity to imprison him.

Divebar2021 · 26/09/2024 23:37

I saw a video on Tik Tok outlining the whole complicated mess… all I can say is if it was only 50% of it was true there has been this whole ring of criminality involving all these major rappers and their various partners. There was also a lot of suspicious deaths ( Tupac and Biggie included) and gay sex. A lot of men on men action. Interestingly Beyoncés name was not mentioned although Jay Z was implicated. Will Smith & Jada were involved. Jamie Fox was involved then nearly died of something which they were calling pneumonia- a couple of people DID die of apparent pneumonia. It’s a mess. There may or may not be a book somewhere written about it all and there may or may not be video evidence saved somewhere showing the sexual abuse.

So why now?

Igotjelly · 27/09/2024 07:18

50 Cent (and I think Eminem) has been trying to expose Diddy for years. He has a documentary coming out soon on Netflix I think which will document the allegations.

The videos of Diddy with Justin Bieber are really grim now you know the full context behind the relationship.

RachPelders · 27/09/2024 07:27

Being arrested, interviewed, kept overnight and attending a hearing are a minor inconvenience.

I don't think for one second he thought he'd be denied bail.

He thought his money and the power that brought him would continue to protect him and that he'd be able to slope back to his mansion whilst he threw more money at his fancy lawyers to make it all go away.

The epitome of arrogance.

Explain more?

notaurewhatusername · 27/09/2024 07:32

I do wonder the same thing OP and came to the conclusion arrogance kept him in the US. His ego is so huge he thinks he can walk out of any situation.

Word has it he is even going to take the stand at his trial, so his lawyer says.

The guy is a narcissist and has got away with it for so many years he's lost touch with reality.

Cornflakelover · 27/09/2024 08:01

His old boss & mentor Russel Williams has similar charges and moved to Bali back in 2018
so he can’t be touched
Diddy should have done the same when he paid Cassie the money for the abuse last year
The writing was on the wall

50 cents been going on about Diddy since he offered to take him shopping 😂 years ago. That really offended him 😂

He has a Netflix film called Diddy Do It ( got to love 50cents )
this is starting soon on Netflix thst his production company GUnit developed and made

Puffy also many years ago owned a big percentage of Biggie Small music and refused to let him out of contract

few months later he was dead and Doddy now owned all of his music although eventually it went back to Biggies estate

he’s an arrogant fucker and has ruined many careers if people don’t do what he wants but also influenced and created many music stars like Usher and Justin who I personally believe that he sexual abused both of them when they were kids at “Puffy Camp “

Usher went to live with Diddy at 14 and Diddy was his legal guardian
Justin was 15 when he also went to live with Diddy

Make of that what you will

Cornflakelover · 27/09/2024 08:03

There is a video of Diddy with Justin and he’s touching him and it looks like he’s looking for a body wire
he is like patting him down checking him

Jamie fox is linked to a different on going federal case with Leonardo decaprio. Look it up.

I'm a bit overly invested. It's like the big Hollywood Mafia stories all coming together. I've never really followed tabloids so was shocked when stories and videos started leaking. There are crazy aligations about R Kelly being guilty but scapegoated, Tupac and Biggie murdered, Michael Jackson even being got at. Beyonce drugged, Rhiana locked in a hotel room until she signed to JayZ. People like the Smiths and Kardashians being involved. IF all of this is true then it's going to be a big Hollywood fall down - if someone doesn't do an Epstein on Diddy first. I love that Eminem is standing against it all. Gutted that I just thought Justin Bieber was an entitled arse. Bloody hell, even Kanye West is sounding like the voice of reason!

I absolutely agree on Bieber. Really disliked him for years and thought he was spoilt and petulant. Now it seems he was just another abused child. He looks so haunted in recent interviews etc. I hope his wee family is a source of support for him.

Or he has so many people protecting him - it appears to be an open secret. Why has the protection stopped?

SonicTheHodgeheg · 27/09/2024 08:59

Lots of speculation about his marriage to Kim Porter and her death at age 47 too if you’re looking for reading material . Also rumours that she wrote a secret diary that is in the hands of publishers.

Good question - I wonder if somebody who was protecting him has died because death seems to be the catalyst for secrets to emerge.

Yes sorry Russel Simmons I’m still in bed

Tapestree · 27/09/2024 09:06

I'm seeing a lot of photos online with Diddy and the Obamas and Kamala Harris. I don't think they are involved at all - imagine if we were guilty of all the crimes of the people we'd happened to meet at a party- but it does make me question the timing of this, so close to a US election. The Republicans will be taking advantage of this.

ThePlumsOfWilfred · 27/09/2024 09:16

I thought the Kamala photos turned out to be fake? They matched the same photos of Kamal with Montel Williams, but William's face had been changed to Diddy's?

I agree about feeling bad for Bieber. I also thought him just a kid who got rich too quickly for his own good. I now see him as a deeply abused child who was sold by his parents and left to the sharks.

A lot of earlier allegations were settled and dropped, but there are several published articles suggesting that the Rodney Jones suit contains a lot of physical and/or corroborated evidence that cracks the whole thing open. Prosecutors won't go after high profile defendants until the evidence is overwhelming, they know they'll be up against a very well funded defence and don't want to lose and not be able to retry. Plus, post-Epstein there's a huge public appetite for bringing down this sort of thing.
