Has anyone here ever won "Make me a winner" or any radio comps?

I always wonder if anyone actually knows anyone who's had their phone ring for these radio competitions?
Make me a winner and the cash register give away huge amounts of money and whenever I enter I get so sad it's never me 😂

This week, it's £400,000!! 100 entries, same numbers to call, draw is on Friday just after 5!

I can't see that you can enter for free anymore though?

@ButtSurgery Yes you can, there are 10 phone numbers you can call (although you only need to call one of them). The one I mostly use is 0330 880 4557. It's only free as long as you have a mobile package with unlimited call minutes, so do check with your provider! You can enter 100 times for this competition.

Not radio, but I do know someone who won £100k from one of the ITV/This Morning comps.

Just thought I'd chip in and say I won £70,000 on Make me a Winner in 2022, so it does happen to real people and isn't a con. Mine was a free entry when they used to have it available on the website, but now the free route is by calling a phone number. Bear in mind that they call about 10 minutes after the competition closes from a private number, and play it on the radio about 30 minutes later.

At the moment, they have a 'guaranteed winner' system going, so if the first person they call doesn't answer, they go onto the next one until someone wins. At the moment, the weekly comp is up to £300K to be won this Friday 15th November just after 5pm. You can enter 100 times by calling 0330 880 4557, or one of the other numbers. I hadn't realised that the calls weren't live, so I'd always be listening to the radio at that time - potentially I'd dismiss a call that arrived just a little early so it is really good to know that!

Yes, the presenters don't exactly make this clear! During the announcement, they often say they're just about to call the lucky winner, whereas in fact they actually made the call 45 minutes earlier... At the moment, the calls are being made at about 5:07pm. The announcement time depends on which station you listen to...

No money but I did win tickets to the MTV music awards back in the 90’s. Was a great night out

Ive actually won twice on these competitions, first time £50k just for answering the phone with absolute radio and then I won £55k during Covid.
Both were from unknown numbers and about 10 minutes after it ends.

My auntie won on make me a winner! It came at a really good time for them as well x

I won the Daytime Drama competition recently on Greatest Hits Radio. There was no prize but I got to be on the radio & speak.to Simon Mayo which I was happy about (even though I was crapping myself at the time!)
