I'm talking those made for TV hallmark style Christmas films where everyone wears red and green and there's always snow!

I'm in the mood for a Christmas binge while I clear out my spare room. It's a cold bright day here so after a bit of cheesy Christmas fun!

I don't know if it's cheesy but there's a very enjoyable Netflix series called Home for Christmas.

overwork · 26/09/2024 18:36

Not a film but there's a Danish series on Netflix called Home for Christmas which I enjoyed

Mrs Miracle 1 and 2

Badbadbunny · 26/09/2024 18:48

A Mum For Christmas (starring Olivia Newton John!)

Wishihadanalgorithm · 26/09/2024 18:52

The Christmas Card
Christmas in the Clouds

I try to watch both of these each year.

Tulipvase · 26/09/2024 18:53

I prefer the non romance type.

A November christmas is a good one. And The Christmas visitor and while it is a romance one, I love The Christmas Card.
There is also a good one where the wife is dying and the husband builds a ferris wheel in the garden.

Soberfutures · 26/09/2024 18:59

All the nativity ones. Love Mr poppy haha. Will be making a list of all the recommendations on here to binge watch from November onwards 😀

WhatWouldHopperDo · 26/09/2024 19:25

Christmas in the Smokies. Hands down best crap Christmas film ever!

overwork · 26/09/2024 19:28

Newuser75 · 26/09/2024 20:18

I really like the knight before Christmas!

CosyAutumn · 26/09/2024 20:24

Let It Snow
Mrs Miracle

CosyAutumn · 26/09/2024 20:26

The Let It Snow one I mean is the 2013 Hallmark one with Candace Cameron Bure.

HotSource · 26/09/2024 20:44

A Christmas Story (Ralphie) .

For an adult hilarious but terrible film we loved Violent Night

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 26/09/2024 20:47

Santa Claus: The Movie

Now that's cheeeeeese

VivaciousRadish · 26/09/2024 20:56

One Starry Christmas - girl meets cowboy on the bus home for Christmas. He’s got a saddle and a mouth organ, but no horse. He goes to her family house, and his brother comes and yodels while the other one mouth organs. Everyone likes this - I can’t imagine my family being so thrilled

Small Town Santa - it’s still on prime I think. Dean Cain is a hot small town cop, and he arrests Santa. There’s a single mum involved

Reluctant Nanny - A hot cop adopts two homeless kids, so takes on a nanny, who he meets on the street. Actually I don’t think this is Christmassy, but I love it

I love Christmas films.

VivaciousRadish · 26/09/2024 20:58

@CosyAutumn its not Christmas if it’s not Cameron Candace Bure!

peanutbutterandbananas · 26/09/2024 21:08

Great thread! Elf and Christmas Chronicles

ButtonMoonBlanketSky · 26/09/2024 22:08

The Christmas Secret is a good one. Struggling single mum moves to small town...

Henleylady · 26/09/2024 22:18

I love these films too - so much so I bought a red wool coat. I've been thinking when I can get it out! I tend to look at what is available and check imdb - aim for mid 6 score or higher ideally.

MrsArcher23 · 26/09/2024 23:47

I love Elf and The Christmas Chronicles but really just placemarking so I can come back...
