Does anyone else stick something between their boobs?

At night in bed?

Absolutely cannot stand the boobs touching each other at night. So uncomfortable. But I also cannot bear wearing anything on my top half- no top or bra. So I roll my pyjama top up and slide it nicely between my boobs. So comfy. I also like the duvet between my legs so my knees aren't knocking together (the very thought makes me shudder)

Anyone else do this?

I’m quite confused yet intrigued by this thread. I have never felt weird if my legs touch each other, and my breasts don’t really touch each other as they just stay in place. I can’t imagine what this is like.

Do you have difficulty going about other things in normal life too eg crossing your legs?

I don’t put anything between my boobs, but I do use a special memory foam knee pillow. My physiotherapist recommended I do this because I have a hip problem. I highly recommend it to anyone who suffers with their hips.

Do you sleep on the space station or just blessed with the firmest boobs? Because I can't understand gravity not pulling upper boob to meet lower boob.

I’m sure this depends how old one is. At 30 my boobs didn’t touch in a way that bothered me ; at 51 they are the same cup size but I definitely need something between them . A wet flannel is lovely in hot weather!

If I wake up in the night and it's fallen out I absolutely gag at the feeling of my boobs cosying up to each other and frantically search the bed for my faithful tshirt. I have woken my husband up far too many times doing this.

Keep a spare one under your pillow?

I sleep in crop top or support vest and long pj trousers, so I hear you.

MarkingBad · 25/09/2024 00:17

Yes, I use a pillow, one of the shaped memory foam ones, very comfortable.

I've seen the boob dildo (great name) before, I always thought it was too small and needed to be tucked into a bra strap to hold it in place.

KurtShirty · 25/09/2024 00:39

I got one of those pregnancy pillow/bolster things years ago and haven’t looked back. I look like I’m sleeping cuddling a giant white frankfurter

Strokethefurrywall · 25/09/2024 00:43

Yes I tuck my pyjama top in between! Cant bear them touching either, they get sweaty and uncomfortable!!

Itisjustmyopinion · 25/09/2024 00:47

I am very too heavy and they do touch but it has never occurred to me to have something in place to separate them. I think having a rolled up t shirt stuck between them would get on my nerves.

Boobs touching has never been an issue for me and was unaware that it was an issue for anyone else, especially if there are devices available to separate them 🤯

Every day is a school day as they say

Teenagerantruns · 25/09/2024 00:51

I'm not bothered about the boob's, but hate my legs touching. I have a memory foam pillow for between my legs, helps my bad hips to...now I'm going to to bed and see if my boob's will bother me after reading this😅

I read ‘frankfurter’ as ‘Frank Turner’ (as in the folk punk singer) and thought ‘you do you, random boob woman on mumsnet’.

Give it time, give it time!

@ijustwannaknow

i don't mind them touching, but squashing one nip on the mattress with my elbow was an all time low.

recently just got my hair cut as trapping it under my boob was getting very annoying.

just another fun fact getting older!

BeautyPageantDropout · 25/09/2024 02:08

yes, always put the duvet between my boobs.

This is excellent news. We should start a club.

I do the duvet...they sell cushions for this.

Makelikeatreeandleaf · 25/09/2024 04:51

I also use a bit of duvet. It's not that I mind them touching, but i am weirded out by the thought of the top boob skin stretching.

Bumcake · 24/09/2024 23:31

I use a bacon bap, so breakfast is always waiting.

And I have two fried eggs… oh wait, that’s just my boobs! Not a chance they’ll ever meet let alone touch! 😆

DD/E cup here and I have just tried going on my side and they only just touch. I was thinking how does this not bother me when I have to have something between my legs. Might still give it a go

I suffer the pain of these things until I'm finally home and can strip off and stick various cushions in various places.

I have found my people!

I usually sleep naked but actually sleep with a hand between my boobs and my legs in the recovery position so nothing is touching. I hate the feel of clammy skin on skin, it makes me feel physically sick!

I must have some floppy ass boobs then. I stopped breastfeeding a year ago and they are definitely a bit floppier than they were before.

I wear a chest pillow, best invention ever!

SidekickSylvia · 25/09/2024 07:32

I use a rolled up hand towel every night, I started when breast feeding about 20 years ago because I sleep on my side and they would throb if squashed together.
