I'm currently in my 3rd S-F week stay in a premier inn.

1st week i forgot nail Polish and remover so had chipped nails not the end of the world.
2nd week I forgot my vape charger luckily was next to big Tesco so bought another.
This week there are no shops around and I've forgotten my hairbrush. I stole a fork from the restaurant so will use that.
What stupid things on trips have you forgotten.

Reading through and baffled by some of these!

@Iloveanicegarden Where were you in the USA that you couldn't find any knickers to buy??

@DidILeaveTheGasOn Did none of you need to stop for a wee in 9 hours?? (Not that discovering the kids were barefoot after 3 hours would have been much help, obviously).

We once forget to pack tent poles on our family camping trip.

Dh forgot his passport first time we went away together, his ex wife kindly brought it to the airport....

HRT when I hadn't been on it long and really needed it...DHwent white when I told him.

Coat, was off to Berlin in November. At a small regional airport. Luckily was a retail park in walking distance and got a nice puffs that was called the Berlin hookers jacket ever after.yep I'd managed to book us a hotel on fringe of red light districting andalltne girls were wearing something very similar on their street corners.

That has to be something that only a 13 year old could do!!

Or an Australian of any age.

Over the years, I duplicated things in our cottage in Scotland, after arriving with no socks once, during a cold wet spell.

Similarly, a hairbrush and conditioner for my curly hair, which needs to be done when wet in the shower, although I did improvise with a fork.

Tent pegs, on one memorable occasion.

We forgot the camp stove once. Thankfully, we were able to set up next to the bbq.

Went to my dads once with the clothes I stood up in. I just burst into tears. Send DH out for a nighty and wine. Washed every night, Australian summer so it all dried and wore it the next day.

I often forget my hairbrush, and I can guarantee every time I travel abroad the first thing I have to do at the airport is run off to accessorize for some sunglasses.

DH went to wales for a week without any pants. It was a 25 mile round trip to the nearest Asda 😂

@CheeseWisely We realised when we had our first wee pit stop at the services!
