It's coming. I am so breathless with excitement. We've ordered a new sofa for the viewing. But I am so worried that Rupert Campbell-Black is miscast. He isn't blonde, he isn't smooth, he's not...thrilling. I also feel David Tennant isn't thuggish enough to be Tony Baddingham. This could be the greatest miscasting since Natalie Wood as Maria. Anyone else feel the same?

I’m looking forward to this although I’ve not read the books. But I don’t find any of the actors attractive which is a bit disappointing, particularly DT.

No I don’t get the casting either! Not the image I had in my 13 year old head!

Alex Hassell looks nothing like RCB, either in the book's description or my imagination.

Anyway, I'm not forking out for Disney Plus to watch it.

This is the trouble with TV adaptations, nobody ever looks like you imagined them. When they made Riders I was so disappointed with RCB. I will be watching this though.

I find her writing so irritating. Most other good writers find it possible to write wittily and elegantly without the constant use of italics and bold.
