Was going to get one on Amazon but they’re not going to come in time, has anyone seen them in the shops?
Suppose I could google but genuinely thought of MN first 😂

Dunelm has a few different styles.

Forestcantrun · 13/09/2024 21:59

I was given one from M&S I think it was. sitting in the wardrobe unused. If you’re anywhere near me you can have the thing OP

Oh marvellous, thanks - that was simple!
There’s one not too far away, will go over tomorrow 🙂

Yep - Dunelm

Mygreyhair · 13/09/2024 22:00

They’re rubbish. I wanted one for ages but hardly use it. Impossible to fill from a hot tap!!

Ah that’s kind! I don’t ever use them but someone suggested it for warming up after open water swimming, sort of draping it round your neck, and I’ve seen a few people doing it so I think it’s worth trying…

I have one like that from Savers.

I use mine all the time. I just hold it up and fill it from a jug

TheChosenTwo · 13/09/2024 22:02

Thanks @NailedUp - I don’t think we have a B&M near us but I’ve been to one before, it’s like Wilkinson’s - full of random things you never realised might be useful!

Hmm. It should be okay filling from a kettle?!
Hopefully?!

I got mine in Home Bargains last winter. I absolutely love it. DH and the kids each have their own one as well. They just get filled up using a normal kettle. No difficulties at all.

Fleecedandzipped · 13/09/2024 22:03

I have one, but I rarely use it. It needs a whole kettle full of water and it loses its heat quite quickly. I prefer the standard shape.

TheChosenTwo · 13/09/2024 22:05

I’ll report back - mixed reviews on here so far but I don’t need it to be hot for long, just warm would be fine, hell I’d settle for just not freezing 😂

I think argos have several too, when I was looking for a mini one I saw a few listed.

starsinyourpies · 13/09/2024 22:08

Cancer research had some in their range of 'new' stuff that looked lovely

Ohwhatfuckeryitistoride · 13/09/2024 22:12

I bought dh one fir his perennial cold feet. It was always cold before he got to bed.

SunMootStars · 13/09/2024 22:22

I've seen them in Primark if you have one close by ?

UmopapIsdn · 13/09/2024 22:26

I cant live without mine! Takes a full kettle but there's no issues actually filling it. I like mine wrapped round my waist and find it warms me quickly that way. If the small of my back is warm the rest of me is!

If you have a pet they’re going to suddenly become even more cuddly and you’ll have to share it Grin

Home Bargins

Soluckyinlove · 13/09/2024 22:28

We love ours. I also got my husband a round the neck bottle from Dunelm, which he didn't take to but I have now taken over.

No soecs on

NashvilleQueen · 13/09/2024 22:28

I give up

Thistooshallpass24 · 13/09/2024 22:29

What you want is a baby carrier/backpack hybrid that holds a regular hot water bottle! Dead simple to sew also good for watching sports with it tucked under your coat

You don’t have a B&M? How do you buy random storage crap you don’t need?
