My dad died and I am perimenopausal - great. That’s clearly a get out of jail free card. I’m off to rob a bank. Except I won’t because I have a moral compass. He doesn’t. No excuses.

My heart goes out to his wife and children.

She now has to deal with people pulling apart whatever decision she makes publicly. She’ll be unfairly shamed if she stays, it’s an impossible position. She’s been placed into a nightmare by someone she loved and trusted.

I am a huge Foo Fighters fan and had always had a lot of time for David Grohl, but he is after all just another bloody man who loves an ego trip over the love of wife and his family. it’s sad but not a shock.
