Not really, his band mate and friend committed suicide, surely waiting a bit longer wouldn't hurt but he would rather ride on Nirvana's legacy. If it wasn't for him being in Nirvana the Foo Fighters wouldn't have taken off like they did, I don't think they're worth the hype either. His launch of the Foo Fighters was very well timed IMO.
