Following on from the Disney adult thread, let’s have a lovely lighthearted one please 😄 what’s your absolute favourite Disney film? As a kid if was beauty and the beast but I also love some of the more modern ones.

Yes I know they’re sexist, old fashioned, problematic (at less the old ones are!) but this is a light hearted bubble thread 🫠

I love all the 90s classics really.

I'm sorely disappointed that DD isn't as keen!!

I am in Disney world right now 😂 My favourite is either The Little Mermaid or 101 Dalmatians.

It's so hard to choose. Sleeping Beauty... but wait, The Emperor's New Groove... but what about 101 Dalmatian's!

I like Robin Hood. It is one of those Disney films that as a kid is an enjoyable romp, but as an adult it has more depth.

Ah man. So hard to choose, as I bloody love Disney.
I was the perfect age for it all in the 90s, so love all of them. But also love the earlier ones and most (but not all) of the recent ones too.

I know strictly speaking it's Disney/Pixar but, Toy Story is the one that's endured for me. I'm heavily invested into the story of that cowboy and space ranger! 😂

Big Hero 6 is also a massively underappreciated Disney film IMO.

As a kid I loved Pete’s Dragon, also one about a space cat with a magic collar ???? Was never keen on the cartoons

Beauty and the beast was my favourite as a child . From the newer ones I like Moana

I've always loved the Black Cauldron, Hercules, The Lion King and the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I think Treasure Planet is an enormously underrated gem which I absolutely adore. The more modern ones I enjoyed Tangled, Moana and Soul.

Ugh none of them. I've seen most love action ones and the fact that they don't use the original soundtrack upsets me 😅 it's criminal

I love them all but my favourite is probably Aladdin. The live action one was good too.

I tell a lie... 101 Dalmations live action was ok

I'm not wild about the live action remakes, but I do love the retellings - Maleficent and Cruella. I think they're great!

Frozen for me 💖 And Beauty and the Beast live action!

Oooo I love Cinderella and beauty and the beast and any really from the ‘Disney renaissance’ but frozen has a space in my heart too. I love inside out and inside out 2, Toy Story and soul, I could go on forever!

Another one for Big Hero 6! We still do the fist bump. I had a child dress up like Honey Lemon. My favorite is Fred and the Stan Lee cameo. This one is truly a gem.

Brother Bear is really good and hasn't been given a chance to shine.

Think the favourite of my childhood would have been either the Lion King or Mulan. I watched both of these daily for a while! Aladdin was also on repeat for a time (all three movies) As a teen Beauty and the Beast was definitely up there though. My toddler found my toy Beast this week and he loves it! I'm considering letting him watch the movie, but he's a sensitive soul and it might be too scary for him (apparently I was scared of the wolves when I was little)

Have to agree with @MonsteraMama about Treasure Planet - even as an adult I still think it's an absolute masterpiece.

Modern ones don't really have the same vibe imo. I did enjoy the live action Aladdin, admittedly.

I actually really like beauty and the beast. Again it’s not the original and I have very mixed feelings for Emma Watson as Belle, but I actually loved it as a movie in its own right.

I also loved Aladdin and Jasmine.

I also think Mulan is under appreciated.

Of the old ones my favourite is the little mermaid.

I also love Tangled now though

Oh yeah I love Tangled

Tangled, Moana and Frozen are my faves.

I just love rapunzel and the songs are banging. Actually they're brilliant in Encanto too
