Does anyone know if I can take a salad to the airport and through security?

I hate airport food and I would like to take a packed lunch with my to the airport and through security. I have a craving for a dressed salad. Does anyone know if I can take a salad dressed in mayonnaise through security or would the mayonnaise be considered a liquid? Will I play it safe and only bring sandwiches?

I can't eat tomatoes. They make me sick too.

I don't want to be fussy with foods. I love a lot foods but I have to write off a lot of foods from my diet.

A portion of chips will make me sick. I can eat them but I will struggle the next day.

Could you take a sachet of dressing and put in ziplock bag with your other liquids?

I will bring a lunch box to the airport and I will use it on holidays and fill up from the breakfast buffet. Whatever is on offer from the buffet.

I can state with 100% certainty that I have never had a craving for a salad.

So odd to have a craving for something at some point in the future. A craving means you're craving it now, doesn't it? It's the sort of thing that sends a person out to buy things late at night because it must be scoffed. Otherwise it's more of a notion.

I don’t think I can sleep though til both the buffet theft and concept of anticipatory cravings have been tackled.

I can order from children's menus a lot of the time because children's menus are often plain.

I will figure it out as I go.

€4.25 for a standard (meal deal sized) bottle of irn Bru in Ibiza airport!! Worlds gone mad!

We flew from one of the airports with the new scanners and you can take any liquids through. But they tested my 100ml mouthwash and I had to wait for ages so it seemed entirely pointless, since I wouldn't have waited at all under the old rules.
