Anyone awake?

I'm awake again, though I did fall asleep at 9. Currently sat in a premierinn as I'm away for work. Not even the extremely comfortable mattress is letting me go back to sleep.

Hay - Funny, i find the beds in premier inn’s so uncomfortable

Have you booked for breakfast in the morning?

I am, though hopefully only for a little while. Barely slept last night (medically fragile kiddo) and exhausted but worried I won't be able to sleep. Waking up in the middle of the night is a right pain - do you have breakfast to look forward to in the morning?

Am awake feeding baby, DP out and we've had a huge row. Also sleep v well in premier inn

I've been here since Sunday. I'm not a big breakfast eater but have been forcing myself to eat a cooked breakfast as its paid for. I'm also eating in the restaurant everyday (meal allowance) which has been ok. Go home Friday. Can't wait.
Then repeat from sun - Fri next week. Premier inn different part of the country.

How long are your days? Are you enjoying your work?

I would not need to force a cooked breakfast

They do other options like croissants, cereal , yogurt and fruit.

I always take a croissant and a piece of fruit back to the room / out with me and fill up a take away coffee

They are always happy for me to do this

I'm awake. Just completed the job application form I've had to squeeze into my crazy overloaded week. 🤣 I was ready for bed when I started 9pm... Now I'm wired and wide awake. 🤦

It's a newish job as a sme trainer. It's good people are lovely. I'm just away for 3 weeks home on Saturdays.
I know I don't NEED to eat the breakfast but it seems a waste as its paid for.

I'm fat ( my problem) but cooked breakfast and evening meals not going to be helping.

I like the Premier Inn breakfast but they get a bit samey after a few days running!

Have cooked/continental on alternate days to ring the changes, or go for a walk instead if the weather is OK.

I’m awake! 🙋🏻‍♀️ my doggo has been unwell all week (vets in the morning 😩) so feel I haven’t slept much at all, seeing to him and stressing the rest of the time!
On the subject of cooked breakfasts, I would defo be up for that! It’s a treat imo, especially if I don’t have to cook it - or clean up after! So I hope you can get a good brekkie and enjoy. Also hope u can get sum rest tonight. I sympathise with my fellow insomniacs 😖

I'm going to attempt sleep now, in reality I'm so awake I think I'll be listening to podcasts for a bit but at least I'll be in the dark and not disturbing anyone.

I’m awake! What’s sme?
I always sleep badly and have arthritis and my knee pain is stopping me sleeping. Waiting for paracetamol to work. World Service droning very quietly from my phone under the pillow. Dog snoring softly and a cat next to me.

I had to collect friends from the airport an hour ago and now sleep just isn't coming...

Up and feeding the baby again 🙃 off for a cooked breakfast in the morning can not wait. Whilst on the subject of breakfast what's your favourite breakfast to cook or have out?

SME- subject matter expert. I do a niche type of training.
Breakfast- I've been having 2 fried eggs, 2 bacon and hashbrowns. Might have scrambled eggs and mushroom tomorrow. It's a cooked to order Breakfast rather than a buffet.

I’m awake because I had a mega depressive slump yesterday and slept from 5-7, then a disturbed night. Great day today, and now I’m buzzing and have just spent the last couple of hours sorting out a work project which seemed overwhelming and I’m now enjoying and looking forward to delivering.
Stupid brain!!

I'm wide awake stressing over some health problems. I love a stay at a premier inn but mainly it's the breakfast! Never really eat much breakfast at home but go to town if staying anywhere!

Yes continental is buffet. I just can't really face breakfast especially as I'm eating about 630 . I'm also eating a hot lunch as the place I'm at doesn't do sandwiches. But it's cheap had a quiche and salad for £3 today

I'm taking my son to university tomorrow 4 hours away, to settle him into his halls.
We've both been quite teary all day and now I can't sleep and I'm up at 7 to pack the car then drive.
Feels like the end of an era. Massive mixed emotions I'm all over the place.
Hope everyone else manages to get some rest.

I'm giving up on sleeping . Have been trying for the last hour or so.

I’m also wide awake, stinking cold and can’t breathe through my nose, and baby has woken up a few times. Ds will be up in a couple of hours, arghhh

I've given up on sleeping and am now steaming on my tablet
