Macaroni cheese with kimchi, broccoli and spring onion mixed through. It was from a vegan meal box and it was delicious. We had two portions each and there were enough leftovers for my lunch today.

I checked the fridge and there was a plate of leftovers! I had chicken stew with dumplings. Was delicious actually. My memory is just...y'know

Anonym00se · 04/09/2024 15:32

We had chicken fricassée and rice. I’m trying to empty the dregs of the fridge before holiday and had chicken, cream, half a bottle of wine and some veg to use up.

ladylasagne · 04/09/2024 15:36

Moussaka! My DH makes an amazing moussaka, it’s my all time favourite when he cooks it. It was my birthday yesterday and when he asked me what I wanted, I specifically requested it. I had cold moussaka for lunch today as well and it was still amazing.

makingmakingbaconpancakes · 04/09/2024 15:37

Vivera plant based kebab, salad, sumac rice and a flatbread, with garlic and chilli sauce last night. Tonight is the remains of Sundays Indian takeaway, to which I will add some paneer cubes, and have it with puri (frozen puri that you fry in a pan)

Tonight will be Something With Salmon as we had two packs in the freezer.

ChipsCheeseAndGravey · 04/09/2024 15:42

I had a chicken and mushroom pot noodle. Don’t normally eat them but they’re a guilty pleasure.

I love breakfast for dinner!
We had Hasselback halloumi traybake and it's naan pizzas tonight.

Oh you're the first person I've ever come across who makes naan pizzas too! I assume you mean adding toppings to a naan base? Soooo much better than the packs of 'real' pizza bases you can get to assemble your own! And just the right size. Hmm I think I may now know what I'm having for dinner... 😅

I'm afraid mine was pretty boring OP, I got some reduced filled pasta (prosciutto and ricotta) from M&S, down from about 4 quid to 70p, and made a spicy tomato sauce with garlic, herbs, chilli and onion. It was alright, not worth full price though IMO.

Leftover roast rolls

  • Ciabatta
  • roast chicken
  • rocket (for health)
  • roast onions
  • stuffing
  • smear of mayo and gravy
with a side of twice cooked roasties and gravy for dipping

Cant begin to tell you how delicious it was

ranoutofquinoaandprosecco · 04/09/2024 16:16

Last night we had a Thai chicken curry made in the slow cooker with sticky rice. Tonight it's a sausage traybake with root veggies apples and blackberries in a honey mustard dressing and mashed potatoes and broccoli - ooh and about 2 peas each as that's all that were left on the allotment!
