I visited a friend earlier who had a scented candle burning. Her house smelt lovely but I would never have thought of lighting one before dusk.

Do you?

No because of fire risk

They're only a fire risk if you leave them unattended.

You can also get electric wax burners.

I don’t enjoy scented candles, they always get up my nose a bit!

But I bought some beeswax candles from Northumberland Honey for the winter and these are a totally different experience . Beautiful light and no nose tickles.

We usually light a vigil candle each morning, don't leave it unattended.

Yes, in the kitchen to deal with smells.

DS hates the smell of cooking (autism, sensory issues) and lighting a candle helps a lot.
