What do you consider to be a waste of time?

My list includes ironing, bird watching, TV soaps and social media.

Social media - Facebook, Twitter, etc
Queuing for anything
Ironing
Vacuuming
Most tv programmes, particularly "celebrity" ones
Womens' magazines

What's your excuse?

Going to overpriced concerts in massive venues where the musicians resemble ants and the audience spend all of their time filming on their mobile phones.

Ha ha yes. Why am I doing it?!

Incessantly complaining about things you can change.

'Pampering'

Work - years spent running round stressed to the gills expending brain cells on a hollow job to pay someone else's mortgage
And ironing - what a terrible waste of the prehensile thumb

Sometimes wasting time is a real pleasure.

Nothing is a waste of time unless you're making progress or you are getting enjoyment from it. For me it's reading stuff on the Internet that I've got no interest in, but I'm doing it to prolong starting another task I need to do.

Going to the toilet.

Fundamentally we've been designed wrongly. When we were created by (insert name here) they should have made it that food and liquid was processed and absorbed 100%.

I think I shall be speaking to the Vicar about the weaknesses of creation, but in the meantime I have a more pressing engagement in the 'smallest room'.

I've have another - flying abroad only to sit by a pool reading and not bother going out of the resort to explore the local area and experience new cultures.
