Thank you. The annoying thing is I've got so much family in Manchester but not really close enough to any of them to be cheeky and ask them to put us up!

I was 2500ish in the queue to start but got two for Wembly - tier 1 seating on the back wing - wanted more to the side but those were the £200 tickets!

Would have gone for Heaton Park if it had been me and DH but DD gets anxious in big crowds and would really freak out if she got covered in piss so opted for seating at Wembley.

I purposely picked a Friday date as I figured the queue would be less busy than a Saturday

We saw Oasis at Heaton park 15 years ago & there was a park & ride but it can be a pita getting out at the end. Plus no good if you want a drink.

I didn't get a code, ho hum, at least others have been more lucky at securing tickets. But this is infuriating! People with zero interest nicking tickets and selling for £ks!

@needhelpwiththisplease I'm annoyed is this true? Why don't they make it easy to get the tram at heaton park? I guess I will drive if i get to go. Its well set up at Parklife. They made it easy at new order to get the tram last weekend.

Heaton park tram platform is not very big.
The next stops along are not very far and cars will not be on the roads around the area.
It's the same for park life and all other gigs

I also got two tickets this evening for the 26th July at Wembley. Now to find somewhere to stay…..if anyone has any recommendations for Wembley / surrounding areas then would love to hear them. All of the Wembley hotels on site look to be booked up already. Argh.

Ahh us it? My mum and dad are from Wythenshawe. Well actually my dad will always point out he's from Bagueley and my mum is from Newall Green.

Might have to see if my mum can find us a family bed for the night 😆

@northdownsouth7 search along the jubilee line , around Southwark and London Bridge there are a few Peek Inns. Works quite well for Wembley

Trams ran from Bowker vale after Parklife, its the other side of the park but not that much further really.

Also, to make it slightly fairer as it is pure chance whether you are lucky in the ballot.

If they did not have the presale then the people with the fastest wifi, specialist software etc would be able to have an advantage.

DH was lucky enough to get a code.
We are going to Wembley from Manchester as I’m too old for piss throwing avoiding at Heaton Park.

We got tickets!!! Not great seats but we got them. Massively stressful but it will be worth it when we’re at Wembley.

I'm in the queue now to get onto the ticketmaster site. Not even the queue for the waiting room for tickets!
