I've been moved into the waiting room for my first choice of date. At 9am it will let me know my position in the queue.

I have managed to get into the queue to get back onto the website ☹️

Same. I'm in the queue to get onto the ticketmaster website. Not even at the queue for a date!

Apparently there were 800,000 people in the earlier queue for the Irish dates so I hate to think how many people are in this one!

DH is downstairs on the desktop computer and he was already in the website queue before my iPad crashed out of the website and I had to start queuing so hoping he might get on before me.

I can’t even get on the website so I’ve got no chance

I just kept getting error messages. Got all excited as it looked like I might get into the queue and then got a message saying "oops, my bad,somethings gone wrong. Let's start over. " aaaaaaagh

It's such a stupid way to sell tickets. Why don't they just ask people to sign up for whichever dates they want to go to and then do a ballot. Kind of like they do for Wimbledon.

Yep it’s so shit! Hate that tickets are online now for stupid money, I know they’ve clamped down on illegal touts but it’s still clearly happening and it’s shit for the fans.

I was just explaining to DS about the biggest concert I ever went to. At the old Wembley stadium. Elton John, the Eagles, the Beach Boys, Chaka Khan and more.
Anyway I was saying you went to the post office bought two stamps and a postal order for the amount of the ticket. Sent the postal order and SAE (stamped addressed envelope) and sat back and waited until either the ticket appeared or you got your postal order back.

I remember risking loosing my job for hanging on the phone to but David Bowie Serious Moonlight Tour - wasn’t his best musical era but was so thrilled to get tickets. I think it took 30 minutes to get through on the phone and buy them from a person at the other end. I can’t remember having a credit card so maybe I then sent a cheque 🤣

Here we go again... woke up due to thunderstorm and saw the email had come in for the new ballot, straightforward registration and the confirmation email where you have to click to confirm entry came through within a few mins.

I’ve got mine too! Honestly why am I putting myself through this again!? 🤣🤣
