What do you spend your Tesco Clubcard vouchers on?

The scheme is less good these days - less partners and it's only 2x the value (it used to be 4x!)

I like to use them for something fun as a treat. What do you do with yours?

I’ve just always used them for the food shopping! When it gets to an amount I can request them, I just request and use them on that weeks shop.

Acinonyx2 · 28/08/2024 17:22

Not as good for sure but still use them for meals out or weekend hotel break.

neerg · 28/08/2024 17:27

We always use them on airport parking. It just helps with holiday costs.

We've used them for rail.cards, Denby plates etc & RAC membership. Not since the deals got worse though.

Hatty65 · 28/08/2024 17:30

I just knock it off the next food shop. It's gratefully received.

Muchtoomuchtodo · 28/08/2024 17:31

Delivery saver costs.

Last year we put them towards a channel tunnel crossing but we’re not going anywhere this year.

ChocoChocoLatte · 28/08/2024 17:31

I always exchange mine for hotels.com vouchers

geminiflanagan · 28/08/2024 17:36

Denby. We've gradually replaced everything over the past 3 or 4 years, started when it was x4 value and just spent the last lot of x3 value. It has saved us an absolute fortune and its really fantastic quality. I am pleased we did it, it feels like money well spent rather than just knocking a fiver off the weekly shop which I had been doing beforehand.

I did also buy London Eye tickets in 2019 with them, which was helpful as it was incredibly expensive!

Cuwins · 28/08/2024 17:38

We used to do the shopping but try to use them for a day out now. We have done drusillas and Colchester zoo in the last year.
My mum and sister have used theirs for the Isle of Wight ferry several times

Theleaveswillbefalling · 28/08/2024 17:39

Butlins once 😬. I wouldn’t recommend it.

ISeriouslyDoubtIt · 28/08/2024 17:44

I still think the 2x value is good, after all it's free stuff. Every year I use them to pay for full RAC, annual subscription to RHS, subscription to Gardeners World magazine and have just got a train annual Railcard. I would buy those things anyway so this year it's saved me over £350.
I have a Tesco credit card which I use to buy most things everywhere so get points on that.

MamaBobo · 28/08/2024 17:45

Eurotunnel….we have only had a Clubcard since they introduced the dual pricing malarkey and we aren’t actually very loyal to Tesco, but it has paid for a couple of crossings.

ohtowinthelottery · 28/08/2024 17:45

Don't shop in Tesco all the time so don't get that many points but usually buy at least 1 railcard with them.

JC03745 · 28/08/2024 17:45

I've generally used them for Denby.

I got stung years ago when I exchanged them for restaurant vouchers, but they had short expiry dates which passed before I could use them 😡

invisiblecat · 28/08/2024 17:47

Collect them up and use them in around November when I start buying Christmas goodies.

PiggieWig · 28/08/2024 17:49

I buy my son’s young persons rail cards with them or save them up for Christmas.

Plump82 · 28/08/2024 17:49

We're going to Barcelona in December so used our for the 3 night stay on Hotel.com

Alpolonia · 28/08/2024 17:54

English Heritage annual membership.

NothingAGoodCuppaDoesntFix · 28/08/2024 17:57

I've done a few days out with them in the past. But now I'll just use for Xmas we only get about £100 a year but it helps with a few Xmas treats ( we don't drink) but I buy all the chocolate and biscuits . Always tastes nicer when they're ' free'

CeeJay81 · 28/08/2024 17:57

Family railcard. Then use the rest on shopping.

Glittertwins · 28/08/2024 18:00

It was great when I could get the 4x on the delivery saver but it's still better on 1x than paying. I did bank up the Disney+ vouchers when they were on 3x last year.
As long as I have enough to cover delivery saver and disney+, all is good.

pinkroses79 · 28/08/2024 18:00

I use mine for meals and a family railcard once a year.

Ginisatonic · 28/08/2024 18:01

We used to buy Merlin passes with them when the children were younger.
We now tend to use them for Zizzi or pizza express. We’ve bought Denby bowls. Channel tunnel crossing.
I normally do Ocado deliveries these days. 4 X value could convince me to return to Tesco.

SonicTheHodgeheg · 28/08/2024 18:03
