This one is about half a mile from me. It has some lovely features although I would change the knobs in the kitchen ("knob overload" says my DD). I know it is next to the local train station but that wouldn't bother me. You are about half an hour from both Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling so really handy. All I need is to sell my house and find about £300,000 to £350,000. Looking between cushions on sofa for space change as I speak .

That’s interesting! I wonder which garage/parking they’re referring to, because it literally doesn’t have any. I know this street very well.

I once viewed a house where the garage (a separate rental) was along the street and round the corner. The walk would have been a nuisance but what sealed the 'no deal' was that as a rental you'd be over a barrel. The house fronted a busy A road so no possibility of on-road parking at all.

This is gorgeous but 1) sold 2) too big really and 3) well out of my price range.
Everything else for sale within a mile is very dull.
We actually viewed this house some years ago, before it was extended and renovated. But even then it was at the top of our price range and clearly needed a lot spent on it, so not affordable really. I'm glad to see they haven't stripped all the character out of it and the extension is nicely in keeping.
