She's complaining about the cost of replacement passports should she not have kept them safely tucked away?

I had a dog who ate my passport and then ate the replacement. Interpol probably put me on some kind of watchlist thanks to the chewy great big ...... darling. He was a rescue dog and I would never have rehomed him. Lily Allen is an awful person for a variety of reasons and she shouldn't get another dog if she is just going to dispose of it when it becomes inconvenient.

It's a dog. It's not the end of the world. No one is dying, the dog will go to a good home.

Well even if the visas were not hard to get she should not have left them where the puppy could get them should she?

My existing dog, over the years, has chewed 2 mobile phones and 5 Sky remotes plus other items. I didn't blame the dog or get rid of him as it was totally mine and/or DH's fault that the dog had been able to get to the items.

Our dog is big (on his back legs he is taller than me) so we had to put items either very high up or away in drawers/cupboards. Her dog, I believe, was a small breed so even easier to keep things out of reach

Doesn't it say the dog couldn't be left for more than 10 minutes as it's separation anxiety was so bad? If she wasn't aware of that before she adopted the dog then it's not unreasonable to decide she couldn't cope with that and return the dog. I would blame the rescue if that is the case.

But people who can't cope with dogs being dogs shouldn't get dogs. Its really very simple.
I was once stupid enough to leave my glasses where my puppy could access them, went out for the evening and came back to the legs of the glasses chewed. I wasn't angry with the puppy but I did think 'well I'm an idiot' and learned to not to leave things where he could access them. He had actually been dumped by his previous owner too. They were the super arsehole variety of people who got a dog for their 5 year old child and lost interest when the 5 year old didn't seem overly interested.
