Nope - no signs of anything causing the bleeding, which is Botha relief and a worry! But baby was wriggling good heartbeat & happy!!! I cried so much

So glad baby is ok 🥰

I'm so happy for you. Been thinking about you all day. Its so horrible just not knowing what's happening with baby inside!
So glad little one is wiggling around and it's just pants that you couldn't see any health care sooner!
Fingers crossed you have a smooth week. Hope you can take some pregnancy sick leave to de stress and recover from the emotional roller-coaster

Hi op, just to add that I bled through the last 10 weeks of mu second pregnancy, very much like you described. I was monitored, scanned and admitted to hospital a variety of times, and whilst it was a tricky pregnancy, my baby was born full term and healthy.

They never knew what caused it and it was absolutely bloody terrifying. I can understand why you’ve been beside yourself. I’m so pleased to hear you and your baby are okay right now, and hope you hit the 16 week mark asap - as I’m sure you’re doing, call in with any problems or worries, ask them to check and monitor you if you think there’s a problem. I’m sending love.

Awwwwww @YourBusyTurtle! I am so so happy for you! Have been thinking of you and your little baby on and off all day.

I know that it's less than reassuring when it is inexplicable but your little baby sounds absolutely delighted with itself in there. 💕

Rest up. You've had a really stressful couple of days.

mommatoone · 20/08/2024 20:46

Great news OP!!! ❤️

PanettoneSoprano · 20/08/2024 20:49

I had bright red bleeding from week 8 to week 36, when she decided to pop out!

I was told it could have been an ectropian but they couldn't tell for sure because there was too much blood to get a clear view of my cervix.

She's 3 now. Good luck, it's very worrying 😟 xx

Purplepeoniesdroppingpetals · 20/08/2024 20:59

Brilliant news! Very pleased that you’ve had some reassurance and best wishes for the rest of your pregnancy.

Mynaddmawr · 20/08/2024 20:59

I'm so happy for you my love! I actually have tears in my eyes. Wishing you a less stressful rest of the pregnancy ❤

peachesarenom · 20/08/2024 21:05

I am soooooo happy for you, I hope all goes super smoothly for you xxx

Snowdrop80 · 20/08/2024 21:06

I’m so glad to read that all is ok OP.
I had on/off bleeding until I was around 19 weeks. Sometimes it was pinky brown, other times red. There was nothing on the scans that indicated where I could have been bleeding from. In the end they said that they thought it was from a sensitive cervix. Wishing you luck for the rest of your pregnancy x

Highlandcathedral · 20/08/2024 21:16

So pleased to read this, I’ve been watching since last night. I had a big bleed at just over 13wks with my first, who is now 30 and married! Just to maybe make you worry less I had sort of old blood discharge for about 6wks after, they thought I’d had a small haemorrhage at the edge of my placenta. She was a big healthy baby born 2 weeks late too.

Zonder · 20/08/2024 21:37

So glad.

KerryBlues · 20/08/2024 21:42

Oh, great news, op 😊

YourBusyTurtle · 20/08/2024 21:51

Thank you all so so much. I’m so overwhelmed by how supportive you’ve all been. We have an appointment at EPU tomorrow morning to hopefullly reinforce the private scans findings tomorrow then hopefully we can relax a bit!

Thread appeared on trending, I've only read OP posts but had to write what a relief the latest updates were. Your pain and panic was obvious and justified.
Fingers crossed the rest of the pregnancy goes smoothly. And when baby is placed in your arms, it'll all seem worth it.

Borninabarn32 · 20/08/2024 21:57

Glad baby is well, I had bleeding from my cervix, (like the actual cervix was bleeding not blood from my uterus coming though my cervix) stopped around 20 weeks I think. No sex or penetration or orgasms till then.
