Thinking of you OP.
I haven’t experienced this kind of bleeding but one friend bled a lot on and off through her first pregnancy, she is my friend’s Mum, this was before ultrasound scans so she was given bed rest and never knew why it had happened. My friend is the baby she was carrying , his Mum told me about it when I had some light bleeding early in my second pregnancy.

Hope all goes well this evening op x

When I had really bad lower back ache with my ds during pregnancy it turned out to be a kidney infection!

Even my gynae scanned me as the pain was so bad and tummy was so hard they thought I might have gone into very early Labour/ late miscarriage.

(I was 19 weeks)

I just thinking that utis are quite common when pregnant so it maybe completely unrelated iyswim and I'd would ask about urine test too.

Ttcagainnow · 20/08/2024 16:18

Op I'm thinking of you. I've never experienced anxiety like I have with pregnancy. Previous miscarriage here too and the stress it leaves you with is awful. I don't want to give you false hope but lots of people do bleed and if you've had no clots then I'd see that as a positive thing.really hope all is okay. Thinking of you this evening.

It could be a subchorionic haematoma, I had that before and all fine.
Good luck OP. Thinking of you. Xxx

I just feel like I’m grieving already it’s just awful. I feel like I’m letting my baby down, my little girl down and my husband down xx

Hi OP I had a major haemorrhage at 14 weeks, lost over a pint and baby was totally fine, the cause was a subchorionic haematoma which lasted about 6 weeks. Had another haemorrhage at 32 weeks, no cause found. My baby was born healthy but I did bleed in and after labour (so maybe consider giving birth on labour ward just to be safe) but my 6 month old was born in perfect condition and is currently having a lovely snooze on my lap. Both bleeds terrified the bejaysus out of me so I’m very sympathetic but I was shocked that I could have a good outcome with so much blood lost (A&E told me I’d miscarried when I was waiting for my scan at 14 weeks). Will keep everything crossed for you.

Reality here. Fresh bleeding can indicate a problem. Obviously. But the bleeding hasn’t got worse, brown blood as you described suggests the bleeding has actually stopped. Limited pain, no contractions etc. this is all as positive as it can be.

But even if it is not the outcome you deserve after everything it is nothing you’ve done.

BloodandGlitter · 20/08/2024 16:49

OP you haven't let anyone down lovely, if anything has happened it isn't your fault please remember that and be kind to yourself x
