Can’t sleep because I had a disagreement with close friend. Why are you still awake?

Urgh, I hate it when I get this wound up and my brain won’t switch off. Thankfully I’m not working tomorrow. Why are you awake in the small hours of the night?

Was it over something silly, I'm awake cannot switch off over work would like to see pro active changes made (that would work) but can't seem to get some team members on board due to them not liking change think the best thing to do is quit!

Sat in a&e, been here since 8, reckon I'll be seen by 8 if I'm lucky

I slept in too late this morning, by accident. Should have got up at 8 as we're moving house in 10 days and have so much to do it's insane. I think I went back to sleep in denial!
Now I'm wide awake and I keep making lists and thinking of more things that need sorting and worrying about.
Also, it's now my birthday!

you must feel strongly if you’re considering quitting over the changes. Change at work is rarely easy. I feel for you. Is there any other way to get more support from other staff?

Long story short, I pulled out of going to a concert with a group of friends next week (which I never do) because of something I’m really anxious about, and one long term friend got angry with me. It won’t affect their day in any way except I won’t be there. No-one else in the group is angry with me. We’ve had some cross words and she removed me from the event group chat. It’s a ridiculous situation but I know she’s in the wrong, and I’m hopeful it’ll eventually resolved even if it’s awkward for a bit.

I hope you get seen soon. I would say Saturday nights are terrible in A&E but I’ve been told I still the same all week round now.

What a shame. Fingers crossed they stop soon and you both get some sleep.

Happy birthday! Break out the 3am birthday cake. 😂. I suppose a person can struggle to sleep even when there’s positive things going on in your brain, although I know moving house is one of the most stressful things you can do. Congratulations on your new home.

Starting divorce proceedings soon. He isn't awful, but doesn't love me any more. He doesn't want to get divorced, but I deserve love too.
It is enormously painful.

My baby girl just coughed herself awake then threw up everywhere. All I can smell is sick now trying not to be sick myself 😅 the joys of motherhood. Hope you get some sleep soon OP!

It must be so painful. You’re absolutely correct that you deserve love too. My ex didn’t want the divorce either but I knew I deserved better. Best of luck for the future.

My sleep is topsy turvy at present so I'm nearly full awake, watching the green mile which I've never seen before

I've been on night shift last two nights before tonight so my body clock is all out of sync. Heading to work again for another 12 hour shift today at 11am. I signed up for overtime & it's time & a half so I can't really complain!

I hope all the poorly kids, worriers, insomniacs and night shift workers are OK and you all get some sleep soon!
