I post alot because I get lonely and I don't have anyone to talk to really. Most of the stuff I post is negative and stressful. So I'm going to try and turn it around and try my best to post mostly positive stuff. Even if it seems abit boring. Its about making things feel better and not let the bad stuff over power the good.

One of the things I feel super proud of is my my garden. I done it all completely on my own no man help. Just me on my own. It was done a couple of years ago . But I still feel proud so I'm sharing it .

And you’ve managed to sneak a photo of your dog in there too 😁beautiful creature

im guessing the fake grass is much easier with dogs as pick up and hose down will be simpler

max29 · 17/08/2024 21:19

Wow, what an achievement to do that all on your own!

I changed the rope on my washing line today, and thought that was a proud moment! 🙈🤣

Of course changing the washing line is an achievement . It needed doing . Now you will have breezey fresh dry washing. And you can take in the smell like on the tv adds

Ah ffs I have weed from my neighbours. Every time they go out to smoke it I throw a tantrum and slam my doors shut

It sounds good. And if you need plastic grass, then that’s what you need and it’s the right call for you!

And I’m generally a bit militant about it! But small gardens in new builds are really hard for grass. I have all patio and border because grass just wouldn’t take.

spiderdave · 17/08/2024 21:57

That's fantastic! Well done!
Although for a few seconds I thought the dog in the photo was a house elf, my eyes wouldn't make sense of what I was looking at Grin

I’m not sure I recognise your name and don’t recall any panelling, I feel like you could be SH101?

LadyChilli · 17/08/2024 22:48

This is not the thread to be judging plastic grass. There is a time and a place.

What a beautiful job you've done @Imnotbad . I can't believe it took a couple of weeks. I've made less progress weeding my drive in that length of time. It's a beautiful space and I hope you enjoy being in it.
