They are all on Netflix so I’m having a binge.

The worst I think is in number 3. Where the two girls are cooked in a sun bed

For you? Or the the person witnessing your death/ finding your body?

Ull · 13/08/2024 15:44

The guy who popped his own head in the gym I think that’s a scene from the same film as the sunbed death. It’s been a while since I’ve watched them all.

IHopeYouStepOnALegPiece · 13/08/2024 15:46

Nail gun in the back of the head or the woman’s head stuck in the lift.

Sunbeds was my favourite death because of the fabulous switch of the arial view of the burning sunbeds to coffins! Masterpiece 😂

God I LOVE the final destination movies! So sad they’re not on Netflix here!

Hobbesmanc · 13/08/2024 15:48

Oooh I noticed they'd appeared on Netflix. There's numerous you tube compilations too. The best disaster is the road crash. So well done.

The sun bed is probably the nastiest. There's something even more voyeuristic than usual. Most prolonged is poor Mrs Loomis in One.

Soubriquet · 13/08/2024 15:49

The woman in the lift was pretty gory too TBF.

The gymnast is the one I have to watch through my hand

velvetcoat · 13/08/2024 15:52

The laser eye surgery scene- bloody hell that was brutal. I cant stand anything to do with eyes being injured. Dont mind someone being ripped apart by a truck or being sliced in half, guts- absolutely fine but EYES?- noooooooo.

I dont need it but if I ever needed Lasik I could never get it after that!

Blabla81 · 13/08/2024 15:52

Definitely the girls on the sun beds but also, for me, the gymnastics bars scene in the 5th one - started watching it again last night. So horrible.

Soubriquet · 13/08/2024 15:56

See I was torn by the sun beds and the lasik. Both horrified me. The gymnast one was awful too

I am lol at some comments on YouTube for the sun bed scene:

"I wonder how many people were saved from getting melanoma by this scene because it scared them from getting inside a tanning bed lol Gore scene but technical win for humanity"

😂

saying that, I wonder how many people now refuse to drive behind logging trucks

Oooooh I didn't know they were all on Netflix, I feel a binge coming on too.

The sun bed one always stuck in my mind the most I think.

hahaha! so true

Elise72 · 13/08/2024 16:01

Oh my, I was driving behind a log truck yesterday and Final Destination was all I could think about!!!

mrsnjw · 13/08/2024 16:03

Never heard of them. What fresh hell are these. Think I'll stick to light hearted umbrella academy. It won't give me nightmares!

spiderdave · 13/08/2024 16:04

The pool scene where the guys butt gets stuck over the drain.

I can't watch these films anymore, same way I can't watch 1000 Ways to Die anymore!

Soubriquet · 13/08/2024 16:04

I remember one year, we went to fantasy island at Ingoldmells. For those who don’t know, it’s a
massive out door market and then some pretty decent rides. Me and dh, stupidly watched the 3rd one the night before. We only managed one ride cos we both shit bricks on it.

Nail gun and sunbeds!

I always enjoy the jumpscare of the guy in the gym getting his head crushed by the weights too, you expect it to be the swords.

Another vote for the sunbeds. I haven't been on one since so yes, it is true!

gamerchick · 13/08/2024 16:05

Does anyone drive behind a log truck? Scarred a generation that scene did

velvetcoat · 13/08/2024 16:06

If you enjoy final destination films, you'd probably also love the film "Fall" on netflix. It's so good- but I had to pause it several times as heights terrify me and my palms were sweating- its about two girls who climb a really tall tower and then it all goes wrong
