When did you last laugh so much you cried?

My partner has just sent me a link and it’s absolutely killed me. I’m sat on my own, laughing so hard (but quietly not to wake my child) that I have tears rolling down my face. It’s been years since I laughed this much!

When did you last laugh like this?

At dinner this evening with adult ds and dh. I'd made a quick version of a dish that is supposed to be DH's speciality and which he usually serves with a great flourish; it's a 2 day extravaganza involving overnight marinading and every pan in the kitchen, while mine took 30 minutes start to finish. DS innocently said 'This is delicious - much better than usual'. DH's face was an absolute picture. I'm still laughing about it now.

I’ve been a bit down lately but a Morrisons advert came up on Facebook and someone had commented. For some reason it made me laugh so so much.

I sent a screenshot to my daughters and they weren’t really amused. Showed my husband when he got home and he just looked blank.

I’ll show you but I’m not expecting anyone else to love it like I do. It’s the comment that made me laugh

This is the sort of thing that makes me proper snort laugh! It's the combination of the really boring piece of information and the random caps 🤣

NoSnowdrop · 13/08/2024 21:31

When that menswear guru on X compared Piers Morgan’s suits with the ones worn by Kermit the Frog. The brutal level of detail he went into and thinking of the comparison pics even now is making me laugh.

The rubbish way Piers responded was pretty funny too but not in the way he’d like. If he’d rolled with it but nah not him.

My sister and I went on water slides and lazy river (that wasn't that lazy) on holiday with the kids last week. So undignified but hilarious.

Absolute comedy gold.

The time (about a month ago), when i heard my son (absentmindedly) say
'Don't dilly dally. Get on Bally!'

And also a scene in one of the Rush Hour films.

Getting more irate - Chris Tucker: are you deaf
Old mystic Chinese man: No. Yu is blind.
CT: I'm not blind. You blind.

😂😂😂

Very very rarely for me, but I mindlessly saw the Fast show the other day and watched a bit, it was partly nostalgia but I couldn't stop laughing, it was like I was verrah verrah drunk. Even now I'm laughing thinking about David Angel Eco Warrior. I don't even know why it's so funny, it just is.

About a year ago I had a few drinks and when leaving the restaurant my friend slipped sideways going through a door, her legs went left and her hand went right and she was wedged in the door frame like some sort of expressionist dancer. I couldn't stop laughing and eventually was embarrassed by it. I had to go to the bathroom to calm down as i was bordering on hysterical. I literally had a tummy ache from it

Till I actually cried and nearly inhaled water as I saw the meme in the bath… the Glasgow Willy Wonka thing. It just tickled me beyond belief.

it doesn’t anymore. Got old quick. But the thing that gets me everytime and will never get old (I’m even suppressing a giggle now just typing this) is that fresco of Jesus that the little Italian woman had been touching up for decades that now looks like Mr Potato Head 🥲

junebugalice · 14/08/2024 00:11

A TikTok of an Australian man (in his 60s) describing how he avoided being attacked by some dogs, he went on to demonstrate their barking and the man looked deranged but also it was his wife’s non reaction. I had tears streaming down my face, I literally couldn’t stop laughing 🤣🤣 it was great, I needed that laugh so much 🤣

This YouTube clip from a French TV show where they put a group of people with funny laughs together.

(no need to understand French to appreciate!)

At this line from The Drink Shrink, describing what happens when you're fed up with sexting:

He wants to know if you’re touching yourself right now. Oh yes, you reply, whistling to yourself as you load the dishwasher. I’m frigging myself like a mad bitch here.

Also the bit where it shows a screen notification of a message from the character's mum talking about her dad's cremation alongside one from the sexting man asking if she's ever done anal 😂

Several bits of that novel killed me.

A few weeks ago when my husband was up a ladder at the back of our house and talking to our neighbour who doesn't really find much very funny.
I was in the bathroom cleaning and without thinking, flushed the loo, like I always do at the end - I didn't realise that my husband had taken apart the pipe outside and was doing something to it, so he got drenched (face-first) by a load of loo water, right infront of the neighbour in the middle of a conversation.

He was NOT happy with me

I laugh easily and find the stupidest things funny. I also constantly share funny things with friends and family over WhatsApp - like constantly.

The last time I cry-laughed was at a meme about a week ago.

LoobyDoop2 · 14/08/2024 16:34

My DP was trying to pick one of those small bouncy balls with his toes, bounce it on the floor and trying to catch it again with his toes. Sounds completely stupid when I type it out but I had tears streaming down my face!
