What colour is your bedroom?

Need to redecorate our bedroom. Would love to get more inspiration. If you recently redecorated- what colour did you pick? We used to have F&B smoke room green but not sure if that's overdone really. Lounge/kitchen is taupe.

Deluxe Sapphire Salute on one feature wall and white on the rest with white furniture and navy accessories like throw and cushions

OldTinHat · 10/08/2024 12:33

White. Everything is white.

I've always had dramatic rooms, iyswim, but when I moved to where I am, I painted everything white and it's soooo calming.

Little Greene - Morning. It's a lovely calming light blue-grey, I love it, so tranquil. It's a south facing room with a big window so can take it without it feeling cold.

White with grey bed, carpet curtains and blue accents [cushions, throw, painting). Green is lovely though!

Meadowfinch · 10/08/2024 12:44

Pale sage green (Dulux Tranquil Dawn), with white muslin drapes and a pale beige carpet. Lots of silver photo frames and crystal lamp shades. Dark wood furniture.

The room has four windows on three sides so it's very light and sunny. Outside there are trees on two sides and a water meadow to the back, so it feels a bit like being in a tree house.

MouseofCommons · 10/08/2024 12:44

White. Whole house is white.

mondaytosunday · 10/08/2024 12:45

Very pale pink. I think it's chemise from Little Greene.

Gowlett · 10/08/2024 12:45

Lilac.

NailsHairNipsHeels · 10/08/2024 12:45

I love a dark bedroom.
Mine is farrow and ball railings paired with F&B blackened (a grey white.)

For those who went for Magnolia or pinkish colours - what colour curtains did you pick?

I’ve got beige curtains and a beige lampshade. The walls were magnolia when we moved in and I bought them then. However, after 2 years of living here, and many years of living in magnolia RAF married quarters I wanted some colour.

Denim drift. Absolutely love it and is by far my favourite room of the house, such a lovely colour and I find it very calming.

OneForTheRoadThen · 10/08/2024 12:47

F&B borrowed light. It's a lovely pale blue

RobinGet · 10/08/2024 12:48

Dark red with cream blinds, curtains and bedding.

RabbitsRock · 10/08/2024 12:48

Ours is the same as when we moved in nearly 7 years ago & I hate it! Pale blue on 3 walls & a darker blue behind the bed. It looks cold. Much rather go for a warm sunny light yellow.

Black wallpaper with red roses and silver leaves, charcoal curtains and blue grey flooring

That sounds really lovely 😍

DoNotScrapeMyDataBishes · 10/08/2024 13:03

Currently grey with lovebirds on it wallpaper - we did not pick this, it was like this when we bought the house.
We have the paint to do it an aqua/turquoisey colour when DH gets round to sorting it out.

Hellohah · 10/08/2024 13:21

Mine is green.

It's B&Q own brand, called Kilkenny.
I love it.

LBOCS2 · 10/08/2024 13:29

F&B Oval Room Blue. It's a mid blue with a black undertone so in a room without plenty of natural light it can feel very dark but it's perfect for our room as it has a big window so plenty of light during the day but still cosy in the evenings. We've got very pale pink curtains and dark wood furniture in there - bureau, blanket box, bedside tables etc.

I only decorated it about a month ago so I'm still in a bit of a honeymoon phase - very pleased with it though. Previously it was Ammonite, which was a bit sterile IMO.

That sounds really lovely 😍

It really is, I prefer a dark cosy bedroom to a light airy one😊

InfoSecInTheCity · 10/08/2024 13:38

Ignore me, misread bedroom for bathroom.

What colour is your bedroom?
Girliefriendlikespuppies · 10/08/2024 13:59

I've just painted mine blush pink, I love it, it feels so warm and comforting.

BatshitCrazyWoman · 10/08/2024 14:02

Duck egg (one of my favourite colours, and so calming and restful) and ivory.

StoatofDisarray · 10/08/2024 14:04

Mine is charcoal with a dark oak parquet floor.

Normallynumb · 10/08/2024 14:37

Dulux Mellow Mocha
Matching toned roller blind
Warm oak LVT
Solid oak wardrobe and drawers
Tiny bedroom so light colours necessary

ToBeOrNotToBee · 10/08/2024 14:39

A dark purple. Very claiming and restful.
