Thank you so much for giving your time and energy yesterday. You showed that racist thugs are totally outnumbered by normal decent people. You are heroes

I was very pleased to see Labour councillor Ricky Jones speaking out in Walthamstow.

The Ricky Jones that has been arrested for encouraging murder? That Ricky Jones?

What was it about his 'we should slit their throats' comment that you were glad to have witnessed?

He could possibly be charged with terrorism. I think it meets the threshold (i.e: encouraging murder for political aims) and the CPS were saying that they were thinking about bringing terrorism charges.

It's that really somebody that you admire and want to be associated with?

Yes thank you. And a great Idea for a thread

It was truly inspiring to see the pictures from towns and cities across the country. Helps to restore faith in humanity. Most people are decent.

Thank you and how lovely.

I went to the biggest London one and I'm really pleased I did.

There was a real feeling of 'not in our community you don't' - but from a personal perspective,I think it was the fact that individual businesses/organisations and therefore individual people were being terrorised that meant I absolutely had to go. It really did feel like actual fascism.

Thank you for what you did. You are a hero to me xx I was not well enough or brave enough but I wish I was

I went to a local one last weekend. I was quite scared beforehand tbh, as I didn't know what to expect, but I actually felt very safe and it was uplifting to see that there were so many more anti racists than there were racists.

My small efforts were reporting each racist comment on a Facebook page for a city in the North West which I'm a member of. The page admin took them off when reported which I thought was great.

Do we need to thank the antisemitic “anti-racist” demonstrators too? There were plenty of those about in London, although curiously they don’t seem to be widely reported. I know about them from people who were there and took pictures and videos.

what do you mean by anti semetic ani racist demonstrators? That is a very unclear description. People demonstrating against anti semitism? people who were (in your view) anti semetic?

Where did I say I admired him?

Flying in the face of the 'peaceful protest' narrative, we had a Labour politician calling for murder, applauded by the mob.

Yes, I was very pleased to see that caught on camera.
