(I am making these things because they are often not gluten free but easy to just make them naturally gf)

1 x sharing bag Doritos
1 x sharing bag of other crisps
1 x jar of olives
1 x pot of coleslaw
Ketchup
Mayonnaise
Burger Sauce

Cheese slices
Hummus

Ingredients to make:

  • one large potato salad
  • one large roasted vegetable cous cous

Drink (bearing in mind they will also bring their own)

15 cans lager
4 bottles of ale
1 bottle white wine
1 bottle sparkling wine
2 70cl bottles mixed summer gin drink thing
Ingredients for espresso martinis
3 bottles flavoured sparkling water

Thank you for the update.

Thanks for letting us know.

so did everyone just eat sausages plain? I suppose it’s a lot of bread as you don’t really eat burgers without the rest of the stuff

I wonder if coleslaw would have gone down better than potato salad?

I know I personally wouldn’t thank you for potato salad!

hope you all had a good time.

SaltandPepper22 · 17/08/2024 18:00

@Ginkypig i had coleslaw as well (a shop bought one - I am a bit traumatised from a coleslaw my grandmother used to make that was absolutely vile and as such am sworn off home made coleslaws). It got opened but looks like only one spoonful was taken so a bit of a waste really.

I do find it fascinating what ends up being popular and not! Good job DH not fussy as he’ll be eating cous cous and potato salad for his packed lunches all week!

Haha!

tell him I like falafel and a drizzle of proper Thai sweet chilli sauce with couscous. It works well as a meal

You could use the couscous to stuff bell peppers, add some crispy bacon and cheese.
