I don't want to be here

I don't truly mean that . But sometimes it feels like that would be a solution. I know that's not true though. I guess it's more of a stop the world I want to get of. I have had enough I really have.

I can't really say what its about at the moment. Because I just can't cope with some of the judgement I sometimes get . The kind understanding people of MN far out weigh the ones the ones who are less understanding. But I just can't manage that just now.

Thread is pointless really because I'm not even saying what's going on .

You need help. Mumsnet is probably not the best place to get it.

Please try 111 and let them know your mental health is getting worse and they can find the right people to help you.

https://111.nhs.uk/

Other option is the Samaritans

Get help for your symptoms - NHS 111

Edited

I Already said in my op that I did not mean it in that way . So there's no need to tell me MN is not the place. I think you misunderstood

I'm with you @Shitmum2024, I don't want to be here either.

I've contacted the GP, 3 weeks till I'm seen

NHS talking therapies : 6 month waiting list.

Phoned 111: told to contact GP.

Samaritans: very kind but not much help

Can't afford private therapy

I've told them all that I feel suicidal ( I won't do it because I've got an 18 yr old ds) but I can't see any way out.

I don't know the answer but I know exactly how you feel. Flowers

@notmoredirtywashing I was going to say I hope your OK. But that would be such a silly thing to say because its clear your not. You will get through what evers going on though. Because we just do that's just how lt is. It will eventually pass because that's life. Them there will be another life challenge.

Getting help is extremely hard unless you have money. I hope your able to find something that helps take the edge of things for you . 💐

I'm feeling the same way. I came very close on the weekend. Maybe we can all support each other.

I hope so @JamSandle

I really hope you're feeling better today after a shit weekend. Flowers

I just know the GP will tell me to increase my AD's, but that just makes me feel numb burying my feelings until the next time. Rinse and repeat.
As I said, I don't know what the answer is. How is suicide ( or idealisation of it) treated? Everyone says reach out for help but what actual help is there? As @Shitmum2024 says I just want to stop the world and get off, but how is that possible?

Yes it really can. I dont know if it helps you aren't alone in how you feel. Sometimes it helps me especially when my brain is very sick. I think everyone is normal but me. But a lot of people hurt and at least we can understand each other.

MonsteraMama · 30/07/2024 11:42

I don't have any words of wisdom, just solidarity 💐 I'm past the worst of it these days I think but some days I do still wake up and just get that little, fleeting, nasty voice in the back of my head going "might be nice to be hit by a bus today".

I just keep hanging on to this stupid little planet for dear life and hoping people are right when they say "this too shall pass".

notmoredirtywashing · 30/07/2024 11:47

Exactly @JamSandle
People around me look uncomfortable if I tell them how bad I feel so I don't tell anyone anything anymore.
I understand that people don't know what to say or do, but that just makes me feel more isolated.

I agree there's lots of people that are going through it. But it is a lonely sort of feeling. You are definitely normal.

Hello OP, we're so sorry to hear you're having a difficult time. We hope you don't mind, but when these threads are flagged up to us we usually add a link to our Mental Health resources.

You can also go to the Samaritans website or email them on [email protected]. Support from other Mumsnetters is great and we really hope you will be able to take some comfort from your fellow posters, but as other MNers will tell you, it's really a good idea to seek RL help and support as well.

We also like to remind everyone that, although we're awed daily by the astonishing support our members give each other through life's trickier twists and turns, we'd always caution anyone never to give more of themselves to another poster, emotionally or financially, than they can afford to spare.

Best wishes from MNHQ.
