On a Sunday the same. Unless we are having dinner in the evening, which we are today in which case it is breakfast, lunch and dinner.

beardediris · 28/07/2024 16:48

Always breakfast, lunch, dinner regardless of size of meal.

BobbyBiscuits · 28/07/2024 16:50

I have a weird habit of referring to all my meals as either 'my dinner,' or just 'my meal'.
I guess I very rarely eat breakfast. For me dinner does traditionally mean an evening meal. Tea wouldn't really come into it. Except a cup of tea in the morning! I'm southern with Irish background.

AppleDumplingWithCustard · 28/07/2024 16:54

Breakfast, lunch, dinner/supper depending on how substantial it is.

HurdyGurdy19 · 28/07/2024 16:54

Breakfast (which I don't eat anyway), lunch and dinner.

Tea, unless specifically "afternoon tea", is a drink, and I won't be persuaded otherwise 😀

Also, breakfast, dinner tea.

I'm from the Midlands. My DC were born in the South. We had many a 'discussion' about this when they were at home (aka arguments!).

unsync · 28/07/2024 17:50

Breakfast, lunch, tea & biccies at 6.00 pm and dinner at 7.00 pm. Unless it is Sunday, in which case it is breakfast, Sunday lunch and tea & crumpets at 6.00 pm.

To clarify, 'tea' as in 'cup of'. In fact, I need to go and toast some crumpets and put the kettle on now.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Northern, and obviously I know what people mean when they refer to “tea”. My Southern mum calls it supper, which I’ve always thought is a bit silly and twee.

BeCleverSquid · 28/07/2024 19:40
