What would you like to do?

i ride horses, so for me it would be equestrian (probably cross country, as in reality I’m not very brave and kinda hate cross country but have always wanted to fly round a huge course with confidence instead of my usual ‘don’t fall! Don’t fall’ don’t spook! Oh god we’re dead’ monologue).

or maybe something more unusual, like skateboarding…..? It looks like fun but is probably not much fun at that level!!

i would like sailing please..as i can sail a small dinghy but am absolutely terrified most of the time and am a bit crap, can still never work out wind direction and hate it tilting at all...

I match with a Dutch rower (I used to row A LOT - I know I could have got in team GB, despite being in my 40s 😁), two softball, a volleyball and a hand ball player. None of them current olympians though.

My height is in the group most likely to win a medal.

Procrastinating

I got matched with track cycling, water polo, softball, fencing, hockey, judo and archery.

I’d give golf a go. Might need to work on my handicap a bit first. And learn not to swear quite so often.

Clay shooting.

I got to county level but any further than that needs sponsorship or it gets very expensive.

Archery. Never tried it and no logical reason to think I'd be good at it but I'm not gifted with any sporting ability. I know I can't run or cycle well but maybe archery could be my hidden talent

If we’re including the Winter Olympics, then bobsleigh. Ridiculously fast & exhilarating and less dangerous than the other sliding sports.

Kite surfing is in it this year and I reckon I'd excel at that if I could get a kite big enough.

Break dancing. I hope it's making a comeback. Squares of lino on the corner of the high street with kids twirling around on their heads. Might revitalise the high street again 😆

Ds did the trials for swimming this year and was close!!! So that's his aim.

I'd like canoeing or rowing or something that involves sitting down I think although I did use to snowboard so if I hadn't developed the adult fear of speed I'd have done that!

I'd like to be a gold medalist as an Olympic rower. I have no expertise at all.

I'd like something water-based like rowing, kayaking or sailing. Not swimming or diving though.

I have cerebral palsy but not not badly affected. Only athletics I liked was long jump.

Fantasy Olympics I would be a long distance runner vault specialist, or Winter free style skiing looks amazing (I’ve never done either sport)
