What's something you've done for the first time ever today?

I've painted my toenails!! I'm going on holiday tomorrow and at the ripe old age of 59 decided I'm going to wear nail varnish for the first time! And they look great.

Anyone else?

Cried to a traffic warden in a car park.

Drove to Dalton Park. It's not actually that far really (about 20 miles?) but I've never driven there before. I tend not to drive to new places very often. We made it despite the confusing roadworks!
Bought a tin opener from ProCook whilst there. We did buy a few other things from other places, but not visited any branches of ProCook before, so hoping that shop visit counts too.

Hired a DIY carpet cleaner. Can't wait to get my old rug looking half decent again. Sad I know.

Bought a pack of crunchie ice creams 😋

Took my toddler granddaughter on her first picnic.We went to a park with a great play park and duck pond. She loved it.

Wore a baby on board badge on the tube! Finally an immediate benefit of pregnancy!!

Visited Leicester.

What was it like? I often go past and see queues and want to shout "he's not real" as I go by! I am a big Sherlock Holmes fan though

Went on a giant swing over a quarry. I hate heights but did it with DS2. Hated every second but ridiculously proud of myself for managing.

My DS recently had a couple of friends over for a sleepover, they all.slept in a tent in the garden. Highly recommend!
