Which impossible physical change would you make?

Pick one to change your life forever…

  1. Never be any fatter than you are right now. You could still diet if you wanted to be thinner, but this is as fat as you’ll ever get.

  2. Become self-cleaning. No more baths or showers ever; no need to even have to wash your hands.

  3. Never have to shit or piss again. No such thing as body waste.

Which would you pick?

But if I could pick an alternative one, I would choose to be 4-5" taller. I'm a diddy 5 ft 2 and I hate it. I can't be more than a stone overweight without looking like a chubster. People who are 5 ft 6 and taller, carry extra weight soooo much better than shorties like me!

@HungryLittleCrocodile be careful what you wish for! I’m 5’6”, which is not ridiculously tall, but by some people’s reactions you would think I was a foot taller! The comments have lessened as I’ve got older, maybe I just mix with nicer people these days, but I’ve still got a bit of a complex about it.

Interesting answers!

Like another poster, I’d have taken the weight loss one like a shot a couple of stone ago. Now it doesn’t seem very tempting. Okay, so I won’t get any fatter, but I could stay at a weight I'm unhappy with forever.

I’d go with option 3. I hate shitting. I don’t understand how, if mankind is continually evolving, we still have to squat over a hole and then scrape the residue out with paper. It’s disgusting. If I could remove the action and save the time I’d be thrilled.

Bum hoses are the way to go! So clean.
If not available I use wipes and throw in the bin.
Wiping with toilet roll is gross, can't believe I did that for my first 20 years. Even with babies we use wipes and not toilet roll for a reason. It doesn't clean.

well, I dont mind showering, etc and I worked really hard to lose weight so happy there.
So def no3. Im a middle aged woman who has to weigh carefully every sneeze, cough and giggle! Not to mention my toilet broke recently and I had to resort to pooping in a dog poo bag for a couple of days so not having to worry about finding a loo? priceless!

Bum hose??? @Disturbia81

I don't really want any of these.

Can I ask if you are pre peri-menopause OP. Because as someone well into peri-menopause and all of its impact on face, skin and body and cognition, I would choose (4) freezing my face, skin and body and cognition as they were when I was 39. I was definitely in my prime then.

(note, I would be able to accumulate new knowledge, I'd just be able to absorb and retain it with the ease I had at 39).

Try being 5ft 11!

#3 would be so useful for long walks, especially when there are lots of people around and no bushes!

Scorchio84 · 06/07/2024 17:13

No.1 without doubt, god the years I've agonized & wasted over my weight, I had an ED (still do occasionally) & it's all consuming, I've missed events & gigs because I put on a few pounds that in all liklihood no one else would notice, it's insane

Def 1 as I love a good shite.

😂😂

From your list, 1, because I’ve worked ruddy hard to lose weight and I know it goes back on easily.

If I could, I’d change my shoe size down and get rid of the lymphodaema. Superficially, I’d quite like brown eyes.
