Which impossible physical change would you make?

Pick one to change your life forever…

  1. Never be any fatter than you are right now. You could still diet if you wanted to be thinner, but this is as fat as you’ll ever get.

  2. Become self-cleaning. No more baths or showers ever; no need to even have to wash your hands.

  3. Never have to shit or piss again. No such thing as body waste.

Which would you pick?

Number one

Cos I like a good shit 💩

and I like to have a nice bath / shower . But as I get older I'm sure it's going to get harder to stay slim

  1. Never be any fatter than you are right now. You could still diet if you wanted to be thinner, but this is as fat as you’ll ever get. - I've never been overweight and never will, so this doesn't apply to me.

  2. Become self-cleaning. No more baths or showers ever; no need to even have to wash your hands. - I love having a bath so it's no to this one.

  3. Never have to shit or piss again. No such thing as body waste. - where would it go? Evaporate? I suppose I'd choose this one as although I usually wee twice a day, excessive drinking in warm weather means I do sometimes need to go when I'm out in the wilds with my dogs!

Weeing twice a day isn't normal or healthy!

BobbyBiscuits · 05/07/2024 15:26

Definitely number one. But I've got a terrible fear of putting on weight so I do kind of regulate that anyway. But if I could just eat whatever and never get bigger that would be a dream!

I quite like pooing. Lol. I did like having a catheter in hospital so maybe doing without weeing would be quite good. It seems to take up too much time and isn't satisfying like a good poo! Lol.

Self cleansing would be great, but I do like the feeling of showering and having a relaxing bath, so that would be the least important one I think!

Belatedeyebrows · 05/07/2024 15:34

2 for sure.
I'm fat now so if I picked 1 then I would have to diet first. And just think of all the issues I would have being able to eat whatever I wanted- hello various junk related related health problems!
3- I mean, the only time needing a wee or poo bothers me is when I'm in a jumpsuit.
If I could have 2 then think of all the money you'll save! No more deodorant, toothpaste, soap, shower gel, dry shampoo...the list is endless

DancingLions · 05/07/2024 15:41

Easy choice, No3.
I have IBS and the freedom I would have, not having to worry about my bowels, would be amazing!

Floatinginatincan · 05/07/2024 15:44

#1 for sure. Why would you want to get rid of the others. Having a good poo and a hot shower are surely 2 of life's great pleasures.

Justleaveitblankthen · 05/07/2024 15:46

Keeping a steady weight has always been important for me but... If I could grow my hair past my shoulders, I would willing trade if for an extra half stone 😂.. But no more than that.

BillStickersWillBeProsocuted · 05/07/2024 15:52

I have a gluten intollerance that means if I eat any I need to be near a loo for a few days after, so I'd take No 3 and a large Pizza please!

MissingMoominMamma · 05/07/2024 16:40

I quite enjoy a hefty poo…

NiceCutRoundDomeDormice · 05/07/2024 23:25

Interesting answers!

Like another poster, I’d have taken the weight loss one like a shot a couple of stone ago. Now it doesn’t seem very tempting. Okay, so I won’t get any fatter, but I could stay at a weight I'm unhappy with forever.

I’d go with option 3. I hate shitting. I don’t understand how, if mankind is continually evolving, we still have to squat over a hole and then scrape the residue out with paper. It’s disgusting. If I could remove the action and save the time I’d be thrilled.

Definitely not number one as that’s surely something you could control yourself whereas the others are not?

HungryLittleCrocodile · 05/07/2024 23:33

Out of those 3 I would pick 1.

But if I could pick an alternative one, I would choose to be 4-5" taller. I'm a diddy 5 ft 2 and I hate it. I can't be more than a stone overweight without looking like a chubster. People who are 5 ft 6 and taller, carry extra weight soooo much better than shorties like me!

Garlickest · 05/07/2024 23:36

I'd go for #2, self-cleaning. But the reason I'd choose it is that personal hygiene uses 'spoons' that I don't have. So the change I'd really like is for my mitochondria, or whatever the hell turns out to be the cause of ME-CFS, to work properly.

Then I'd be back to daily showers, wouldn't need to watch my food as I'd be more active, and could choose a poo-free life 😅

Catnipcupcakes · 05/07/2024 23:37

Honestly, Those choices I can manage without thanks.

I’d have perfect teeth that I would clean, obviously, but would be guaranteed to never need attention other than that.

I’m phobic to the point of having had to be hospitalised and sedated before a dentist appointment, at which I have usually to be sedated again. It clouds my enjoyment of life.

NOTthisOldchestnut · 05/07/2024 23:39

3 for me, I'd sleep better.. I'm already slim, and when I'm older I may want to put weight on to look younger possibly, if my faces shows it! I also love showers, and baths, very relaxing.
I'd much rather an option 4 offering an eternal youth elixir!

You’d hope it was something you could control yourself. But the odd free takeaways and a couple of extra drinks get in the way.

2 bloody hate washing my hair.

PosingPosture20 · 06/07/2024 00:43

If I could delay it for a few months, number 1...I'm not yet at my target weight so wouldn't want that now. I'd just be tempted to stay this weight forever and eat like a beast 😂

If not, number 2.

I agree. That is disgusting. Most people don't do that. 😆

Apfelkuchen · 06/07/2024 14:37

Of your options, I’d take number 1.
But if there was an option 4 that involved having longer slimmer legs, I’d take that!

OutingPossibly · 06/07/2024 14:39

Number 3, because I waste a lot of time looking for public toilets when out and about!

Disturbia81 · 06/07/2024 14:46

Number 1! I like showering and pooing 😂
I just want to be able to eat what the hell I like.

Doesn't always hold true. I am 6ft tall and I can't carry extra weight. If I'm even a few pounds overweight I just look like a really tall potato with 3 chins.
