Anything over 81

When does a majority become a super majority?

When it's not the Tories...

TooBigForMyBoots · 04/07/2024 22:06

Fucking hell.Grin

cakeorwine · 04/07/2024 22:06

Could be some Portillo moments tonight.
Will we have to rename the Portillo moment for future generations?

NoDishiForRishi · 04/07/2024 22:06

Now for the next great race, who will call first, Sunderland or Newcastle?

prettybird · 04/07/2024 22:06

10 was ds' prediction for the SNP. Very worrying for the country (and by that I mean the UK) that Reform are predicted 13.

AchillesLastStand · 04/07/2024 22:06

The result most of us here wanted thank goodness but the Reform numbers are very concerning, and I was hoping the Tories would get under 100. It’s a Labour win though and a big one!

I can hopefully get some sleep for a few hours.

When does a majority become a super majority?

It doesn't. That isn't an actual defined thing. It just means "big majority"

prettybird · 04/07/2024 22:08

And yet the Labour leadership are still against PR Angry

Zonder · 04/07/2024 22:08

I'm sorry for Lib Dems if the exit poll is right.

Grantshappsotherusrnames · 04/07/2024 22:09

Mad stating that Labour MPs will be dissatisfied with a majority of 170!

placemats · 04/07/2024 22:09

Fantastic win for Labour and now have to wait till 5am for my constituency.

13 reform 🤮

Well they only got about 11 last time, so it is a big increase

It'll be Sunderland

I'm in Newcastle North, so I have a keen interest in this great race 😁
But Sunderland generally win this one.

It's OK, they need to win something

I was hoping they might be the opposition.

Checking in. Even I (ultra pessimist) am starting to believe that it might be 👋tories. Reform concerning, but hopefully still low numbers.
