I think I have a wee flu.

My ears hurt, my throat hurts, my nose is blocked. I can't sleep because I can't breath through my nose but breathing through my sore throat dries it out and hurts.

Luckily I can sleep on the sofa tomorrow and not do much.

Why are you awake?

My usual 3-5:30am insomnia spot. I'll drift back off just in time for the 6:30 alarm and feel rubbish all day.

Hayfever has woken me up. Got up for antihistamines, now just waiting for this infernal itching to stop before I try to go back to bed.

Stress and work politics have just written a long email to myself saying all the things I’m not sure I should which I may or may not edit and send to the company chairman tomorrow and a health dose of very loud snoring coming from DH.

My DIL has same symptoms, says it’s nasty, but felt a little better last night so I think a flu like cold she tested negative to covid. Hopefully you feel better soon.

I remember the days of being up with babies and toddlers, it does get better, but then you reach an age when your bladder becomes just as demanding 🙄😂

Not been feeling great the last few days - woke up to go to the bathroom (funny tummy 😑) and take some medication for fever as shivery.

I’m awake because I’ve just found out I’m pregnant and now I can’t sleep! I’m only 4w +2, and having some mild cramping so trying not panic.

Roughly my normal bedtime but I am also enjoying irritating the piss out of my sister who is stuck in A&E waiting to see a cardiologist she's been told IS around but we both know he isn't and won't be til 8am. She's turned off the machine that goes BING twice now, been told off, had it turned back on... so the nurses can enjoy ignoring it as they drink their brews (apparently, i dunno this is her version of events).

I am apparently a heartless bitch cos I am going to bed now and she's bored and hungry. I am. But only the same amount she is as she's done the exact same to me in the past.

Cat woke me up, wanting to go out for a wee. So used to it I wake up naturally at this time now, but back to sleep 😴

Hang in there, sister. I've got a 6 m/o and a toddler. I feel ya. 💕 I lost it at the soy milk that wouldn't foam for my latte this morning. Sending support from Vancouver 🇨🇦

My baby is having a procedure under general anaesthetic in London and need to get up soon, hardly slept all night

Arthritis pain 😭 also ADHD so can't settle. 11 yr old DD also ADHD also can't settle so awake with me! Must be something in the air tonight lolz 😂 tea, toast & hope to fall asleep at some stage 🥱

Son was due home from Tenerife at 1am so didn’t get to sleep properly until I heard him come in. Woke up again at 3, read for a while to try to get back to sleep but have given up so tiptoeing around getting ready for work shortly.
My retired husband has come up with a new project which he is very excited about but after a full day at work yesterday, my little brain couldn’t take any more info and he was keen to tell me all of his plans last night. I went to bed with my head absolutely spinning so I knew I was in for a rough night. I am very methodical and detailed in plans, he is the the opposite and it does my head in!

Snap. Except I don’t even have a brownie <sad face>. How are we to survive on 2 hours sleep a night?!

Been ill since Sunday with this bug, have had about 3 hrs sleep tonight so it’s the sofa for me tomorrow too!

Another night of insomnia. Been trying to get to sleep since midnight, have to be up at 7 for the DC for school, then I have an appt at 9am.

So fed up. I'm not even a little bit sleepy. It's starting to get light outside 🙄

I'm away for work all this week and always wake up stupidly early in hotels. Only two more sleeps then home.

Usually wake up between 1am and 2am then nod back off till I get up at 340am for work. Except I woke up at 357am and just caught the alarm before it woke everyone up!

My eldest decided 4am was dinner time and that they'd be nice and empty the dishwasher! Honestly they work odd shifts (from home) but this is a bit ridiculous and being. "helpful" at 4am is loud and not helpful. So tires but alao a bit annoyed so not sure sleep will happen now.

Waiting for the doctor to tell me what's happening with my elderly dad who had a fall late yesterday evening.
All I know so far is that he has a broken collarbone and three broken ribs.
He's asleep and I'm sat here like a lemon dreaming of my bed.
