.. any thoughts?

They are all SO DULL...

I bought a pile of black/white abstract art-nouveau-y ones from John Lewis a while back, gave them away as presents and used the rest

It always made washing up so much more pleasurable.

Looking now... I can't find anything that's not plain....

Do help me find something gorgeous!!

Cute as anything and definitely brings a smile to my face ... but keen to find something stylish and abstract rather than a person...

I get this one, as it cleans really well and lasts for ages, might not tick your boxes though

I have a nice lime-green one from Ikea which is apparently indestructible despite plenty of use and going in the dishwasher every night.

Also, how cute are these? I know they're not what you're after OP, but I felt the need to share. 😊

People still use a brush to wash up? I thought they went out in my grandmother's day. I thought everyone used Spontex-type pads these days.

loveyouradvice · 05/07/2024 14:20

Ooooo ... this is getting more promising... I like those eBay ones and @SapphireSeptember smiling pet...

Thank you - washing up is going to be rather more enjoyable now!!

You want to fettle your dishes with a fresh cut twig, you don’t need a liddle mop!

Not just me!!!!

Ay, there’s nothing like a thorn twig for cletterin’ dishes.

Ryeman · 05/07/2024 18:05

I use a wooden one like a previous poster, ever since trying to cut down on plastic. They seem to last longer too. £3.49 in Robert Dyas.

yeah, you wouldn't want to get the mop dirty and spoil it

EmpressaurusDeiGatti · 05/07/2024 20:30

Prettier nor apple blooth, thy liddle mop. Cowdle it like a mommet.

BlackForestCake · 06/07/2024 09:49

I use a wooden brush too, because I was using a scrubby sponge before and wanted to switch to something greener.
