.. any thoughts?

They are all SO DULL...

I bought a pile of black/white abstract art-nouveau-y ones from John Lewis a while back, gave them away as presents and used the rest

It always made washing up so much more pleasurable.

Looking now... I can't find anything that's not plain....

Do help me find something gorgeous!!

Ooooo ... this is getting more promising... I like those eBay ones and @SapphireSeptember smiling pet...

Thank you - washing up is going to be rather more enjoyable now!!

Thank you! 😊 You need something fun to do the washing up with, it's such a boring task.

The only washing up brush that would make me smile would be any washing up brush in someone elses hand. Failing that a dishwasher. Failing that, a wooden one then I didn't have plastic landfill guilt.

You want to fettle your dishes with a fresh cut twig, you don’t need a liddle mop!

Just don't go in the woodshed when the washing up is done!

i am loving this thread, had a new kitchen sink installed yesterday and want to treat it to a lovely brightly coloured washing up brush😎

What about this little chap?

Love this, wish I could get a David Bowie one! I have Bowie and Jagger teatowels and sometimes prance around the kitchen singing "I'm washing up, washing up, I never stop"

Has anyone tried a stainless steel washing up bowl? I really fancy one

I don't use a washing up bowl but my sink is stainless steel. Does that count?

Wahine24 · 21/07/2024 09:16

@DTisawazzock so is mine, thinking about redoing that kitchen and was looking online and saw one, I didn't know they existed ! I just wondered if anyone had one of they were any better than the plastic kind.

I don't understand. Why would you have a stainless steel basin inside a stainless steel sink? The noise. The scratching of the sink.

Wahine24 · 21/07/2024 23:40

@DTisawazzock Because I'm planning on changing the kitchen, I was interested if anyone had tried one, it's not for now .
Everyone had been finding cute brushes so it was really just a passing muse. I didn't know about them till recently , was thinking about new sink etc ( we don't have a fitted kitchen) was just looking at options
